Özet
EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF THE THE DUCT WIDTH ON THETOTAL PRESSURE IN A RADIAL VENTILATORH LAL DEĞ RMENCSUMMARYVentilators are the machines that use the air by transferring the kinetic energygenerated by an electric motor with an aid of propeller, resulting in the increase of themomentum of the air. Increase of the momentum causes pressure to increase. In thisway, the air is conveyed from one point to another. The calculations and construction ofthe designed ventilators and the parts belonging to the ventilators are manufactured forthe appropriate local conditions. During manufacturing, many factors ranging fromwing angle to motor selection are considered. We come across ventilators in many areassuch as heating, air conditioning and air circulation facilities.In this work, the effect of the changing the width ventilation of the duct on thetotal pressure was studied.
