Özet
Bu araştırmanın genel amacı, lköğretim okulları sekizinci sınıf öğrencilerinin okul psikolojikdanışma ve rehberlik sevisinden yararlanma düzeylerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu genel amaççerçevesinde aşağıdaki sorulara cevap aranmıştır:1. Gereksinim duyduklarında okul psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik servisindenyararlanmaya yönelik öğrenci görüşleri nelerdir?2. Rehberlik hizmetlerinin önemi ve gerekliliğine olan inançtan dolayı okulpsikolojik danışma ve rehberlik servisinden yararlanmaya yönelik öğrencigörüşleri nelerdir?3. Kişisel problemlerin çözümünde okul psikolojik danışma ve rehberlikservisinden yararlanmaya yönelik öğrenci görüşleri nelerdir?4. Sosyal problemlerin çözümünde okul psikolojik danışma ve rehberlikservisinden yararlanmaya yönelik öğrenci görüşleri nelerdir?5. Okul ve okul yaşamı ile ilgili problemlerin çözümünde okul psikolojik danışmave rehberlik servisinden yararlanmaya yönelik öğrenci görüşleri nelerdir?6. Verimli ders çalışma ve başarılı olma ile ilgili okul psikolojik danışma verehberlik servisinden yararlanmaya yönelik öğrenci görüşleri nelerdir?7. Belirlenen yukarıdaki altı alt amaca bağlı öğrencilerin okul, cinsiyet, gelirdurumu, babanın öğrenim durumu ve annenin öğrenim durumu değişkenlerinegöre anlamlı bir fark var mıdır?Araştırma evrenini, 2006-2007 öğretim yılında Malatya'da öğrenim gören ilköğretim okullarısekizinci sınıf öğrencileri; örneklem ise, evreni temsil niteliğine sahip olacağı düşünülenMalatya'da 7 farklı ilköğretim okulunda okuyan toplam 566 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır.Veriler, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen anketle elde edilmiş olup, SPSS programında analizedilmiştir. Verilerin analizinden elde edilen bulgular aşağıdaki gibi özetlenebilir:1. Öğrenciler, gereksinimleri olduğunda rehberlik hizmetlerinden yardım istemeyidüşünmektedirler. Ancak yardıma ihtiyaçları olduğunda yardım almaları konusundaöğrencilerin teşvik edilmeleri gerekmektedir.2. Öğrenciler, rehberlik hizmetlerinin gerekliliğine ve önemine inanmaktadırlar.3. Öğrenciler, sosyal problemlerin çözümünde rehberlik hizmetlerinden yardımistemektedirler. Öğrenciler, rehberlik hizmetlerinin öğrencilerin sosyalleşmesinde katkısıolduğunu ve rehber öğretmenlerin başkaları ile daha iyi sosyal ilişki kurduğunudüşünmektedirler.4. Öğrenciler, bireysel sorunları ile ilgili psikolojik danışmandan yardım istemeyidüşünmektedirler. Ancak özel ve gizli bilgilerinin rehberlik servisi tarafından korunup-korunmadığı konusunda kararsız kalmışlardır.5. Öğrenciler ders çalışma ve ders başarısını artırmada rehberlik hizmetlerinden yardımalmaktadırlar. Ancak bu anlamda yapılan çalışmaları yetersiz görmektedirler6. Öğrenciler, okula uyum sağlamada rehberlik hizmetlerinin önemli katkısının olduğunudüşünmektedirler.7. Belirlenen alt problemlerle ilgili özellikle okul ve gelir durumu değişkenine göre anlamlıfarklılıkların olduğu görülmüştür.

The general aim of this study is to determine benefitting levels of the eighth gradestudents in primary cchool from the guidance services. In the frame of this general aim, thefollowing questions are reguried to be ansvwered:1. What are the opinions of the students related to benefitting from the guidance serviceswhen they need?2. What are the opinions of tthe students related to benefitting from the guidance servicesbecause of the importance of the guidance sevices and the belief about its necessity?3. What are the opinions of tthe students related to benefitting from the guidance servicesto solve the personal problems?4. What are the opinions of tthe students related to benefitting from the guidance servicesto solve the social problems?5. What are the opinions of tthe students related to benefitting from the guidance servicesto solve the problems about school life?6. What are the opinions of tthe students related to benefitting from the guidance servicesabout studying lessons efectively and be successful?7. According to the variables about the students? schools, sexes, the situationof income,the education levels of the aims above.The universa of the study consists of the eighth ( 8 )grade students who attend primaryschool in Malatya in 2006-2007 school year ; the experimental group of this study consists offive hundred sixy six(566) students who are thought they wiil have a guality to represent theuniverse. The students are from seven different schools in Malatya. The datas were obtainedfrom the guestionnaire that was developed by the researcher and they were analysed in theprogramme of the siss. The results that were obtained from the analyze of the datas can besummarize like in the follawing:1. The students think that they ask for help from the guidance services when they need.But the students should be encouraged when they need for help.2. The students believe the importance of the guidance services and its necessity.3. The students ask for help from the guidance services to solve the social problems.They think that the guidance services make a contribution to the students for theirsocializatı?on, and the guide teachers have a betters social relations with the otherpeople.4. The students think of asking for help from the psychological adviser a bout their ownpersonal problems; but they are undecided abouy whether their special and secretinformation are concealed or not.5. The students are takink help from the guidance services about increasing the successof the lesson and sutidying lesson; but they think that the sutidies about this subjectare in sufficient.6. The students think that the guidance services have an important contribution to thestudents for their adaptations to the school.7. Significant differences veladet to the problems that were determined according to thevariables of the school and income situation.
