Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, 1960-1980 ve 1980-2005 dönemleri itibariyle, Türkiye'de grev hareketlerinin niceliksel ve niteliksel özellikleriyle, sosyal, ekonomik ve siyasal sonuçlarını karşılaştırmalı bir perspektiften incelemektir. Çalışmanın ana tezi, iki dönemin grev hareketlerinin niteliksel ve niceliksel özellikleri ile bunların toplumsal, ekonomik ve siyasal sonuçlarının, temelde bu iki dönemde egemen makro toplumsal-ekonomik ve siyasal-hukuksal gelişmelerce belirlendiğidir. Birinci bölümde, geniş anlamda grev tanımı, grev üzerine kuramsal perspektifler ve grevin tarihsel gelişimi incelenmiştir. İkinci ve üçüncü bölümlerde, iki dönemde egemen olan makro toplumsal-ekonomik ve siyasalhukuksal gelişmeler üzerine bir değerlendirme yapılarak, iki dönemin grev hareketlerinin olgusal verileri incelenerek niceliksel ve niteliksel özellikleri saptanmış ve grevlerin toplumsal, ekonomik ve siyasal sonuçları yorumlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Son bölümde ise, iki dönemin grev hareketlerinin karşılaştırmalı bir değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Çalışmada, grevlerle ilgili verisel ve kuramsal kaynaklar değerlendirildiğinde, çalışmada belirttiğimiz ana ve alt-tezlerin geçerliliği ortaya çıkmıştır

The purpose of this study is to investigate the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of strike actions of labor and their social, economic and political effects in the periods of 1960-1980 and 1980-2005 in Turkey from a comparative perspective. The main thesis of the study is that the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of strike actions and their relevant social, economic and political effects in these two periods are primally determined by the macro socio, economic and political-legal developments (structures) prevailing in the perspective periods. In the first and second chapters, first, a review of the literature on the theoretical perspectives on strikes and a specific analysis of the macro social, economic and political legal developments (structures) prevailing in the relevant periods were presented; then, on the basis of this exposition, an articulation on the specification of the main quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the strikes and their social, economic and political effects based on the related factual data sources and the relevant theoretical literature was developed. In the last chapter, a comparative evaluation of the labor strikes in the above mentioned two different periods. This study of the relevant theoretical and empirical literature provided evidences supporting the validity of the main thesis and sub-thesis in this inquiry
