Bu kar~I1~tlrmah ~all~mada ama~, Bertolt Brecht'in Sezuan'm iyi insam ve VaslfOngoren'in Asiye Nasl! Kurtulur? adh eserlerinde iyilik ve kotUlUk 9atl~masml kar~ll~tlrmah edebiyat bilimi verileri kullarnlarak analitik yontemle kar~I1a~t1fllmaya ~all~maktlf. Brecht ve Ongoren'in bu 9ah~mada incelenen tiyatro oyunlanndaki ortak, benzer ve farkh yanlan belirlenerek, iki eser arasmdaki yazmsal ili~kinin ortaya ylkanlmasl hedeflenmektedir. Ara~tIrmanm sonucunda, incelenen eserlerin iyilik ve kotUIUk 9atl~masml diyalektik bir bi9imde ele aldlklan ve her iki eserin de epik tiyatro tekniklerini kullanarak 0 donemdeki mevcut toplumsaI ko~uIIann degi~mesi gerektigini gostermeye ~ah~tIklan belirlenmi~tir. Aynca yazmsal ili~kiler baglammda Vaslf Ongoren'in eserini igerik ve biyimsel olarak Bertolt Brecht'in eserinden etkilenerek olu~turdugu gorlilmii~tlir.

The aim of this comparative study is to analyze the conflict between goodness and evil in Bertolt Brecht's The Good Person of Sezuan and Vaslf Gngoren's Asiye NasI1 Kurtulur? in the respects of comparative approach and analytical method. It is aimed to demonstrate the textual relationship between these two works by determining the common, similar and different characteristics in the plays studied. As a result of the study, it has been concluded that the two plays analyzed tried to demonstrate that the status-quo and the social conditions of the era, in which the plays were created, must be shifted for citizens' benefit. It can also be referred that these two plays did so by taking the conflict between goodness and evil dialectically and applying the techniques of epic theater. Also, by means of textual association, it has been interpreted that Vaslf Ongoren created both the content and the form of his play under the influence ofBertolt Brecht's theories ofepic theater
