Özet
Bu çalışmanın birinci bölümünde genel olarak çocukların gelişim dönemleri incelendi. İslamın çocuğa verdiği önem, çocuk edebiyatı, çocuk kitaplarının özellikleri, eğitim öğretim konusu ve İslam'da eğitimin hareket noktası gibi konular ele alındı. İkinci bölümünde çocuklara yönelik meal ve tefsir hazırlamanın gereklilikleri, mevcut meal ve tefsirlerin çocuklar açısından değerlendirilmesi, çocuklar için meal ve tefsir hazırlarken dikkat edilmesi gereken hususlar ve kullanılabilecek bazı yöntemler anlatıldı. Üçüncü bölüm de ise fikir vermesi açısından örnek olarak Lokman süresinin çocuklar için meal ve tefsiri yapılmaya çalışıldı.

In the first part of this paper, the development periods of children have been examined. The subjects such as the importance given to children by Islam, children?s literature, the features of the children?s books, the education issue, and the milestones of education in Islam are also studied in the first part of this paper. In the second part, the requirement of preparing translation and commentary (tefsir) of Quran for children, making assessment about the existing commentaries (tefsirs) and translations of Qur?an in terms of the viewpoint of children as well as the issues to be taken into consideration and some usable methods to be used when a commentary and translation of Qur?an is prepared for children, are studied. In the third part, the translation and commentary of Surah Lokman for children have been prepared so as to give as an example.
