Özet

Bu çalışmada, Balanced Scorecard ve Altı Sigma uygulama süreçlerinin bütünleştirilerek yeni bir model önerisi oluşturulması ve bu model önerisi çerçevesinde uygulanan bir Altı Sigma projesinin örgütün stratejik amaç ve hedeflerine etkilerinin ortaya koyulması amaçlanmaktadır. Tez, Balanced Scorecard ve Altı Sigma hakkında temel bilgileri, bir model önerisini ve model önerisinin uygulanmasına yönelik bir araştırmayı kapsamaktadır. Tezin ilk iki bölümünde Balanced Scorecard ve Altı Sigma hakkında temel bilgiler verilmiş; üçüncü bölümde, bütünleştirilmiş model önerisi oluşturulmuştur. Dördüncü bölümde ise, model önerisinin Kara Kuvvetleri Komutanlığına bağlı bir Ana Bakım Merkezinde uygulanmasına yönelik araştırmaya yer verilmiştir. Araştırmanın uygulanması sonucunda, örgütün kritik bir sürecinde uygulanan bir Altı Sigma projesinin, örgütün stratejik amaçlarına ve hedeflerine etkileri görülmüştür. Ancak model önerisi uygulanmadan önce, stratejik planlama sürecinin tamamlanmış olması gerekmektedir. Bunun yanı sıra, örgütün stratejik amaçları da, Altı Sigma'da kritik kalite özelliklerine dönüştürülmeli ve kritik kalite özellikleri model önerisinin dört boyutuna göre sınıflandırılmalıdır. Ayrıca, Altı Sigma'da süreç sigma sayısı da model önerisinin dört boyutuna göre hesaplanmalıdır. Altı Sigma projesindeki geri bildirim bilgisinin operasyonel mi yoksa stratejik mi olduğu da değerlendirilmelidir.

In this study, it is aimed to integrate the application process?s of both Balanced Scorecard and Six Sigma to constitute a new suggestion of model and to exhibit the effects of a Six Sigma project to the strategic goals and targets of an organization, which is applied in the frame of this suggestion of model. The thesis comprises the basic information about both Balanced Scorecard and Six Sigma, a suggestion of model and a research on applicability of the suggestion of model. In the first two chapters of the thesis, basic information about both Balanced Scorecard and Six Sigma is given and suggestion of the integrated model is formed in the third chapter. In the fourth chapter, a research on applicability of the suggestion of integrated model in a Main Maintenance Center, which is under the command of Turkish Land Forces Command, is given. Having carried out the research, it is concluded that the effects of a Six Sigma project, which is applied to a critical process of the organization, on the strategic goals and targets of the organization are seen and thus the suggestion of model is applicable. On the other hand, before applying the suggestion of integrated model it is needed that the strategic planning process be completed. Besides, the strategic goals of the organization must be converted into critical to quality (CTQ)?s and CTQ?s must be divided into four performance dimensions of integrated model suggestion. Also the process sigma number must be calculated according to four performance dimensions of the suggestion of integrated model. And it must be assessed whether the feedback information of Six Sigma project is operational or strategic.
