Özet
Tasarım kavramlarını öğrenmek ve uygulamak, verilen eğitimin içeriğiyle, öğrencinin katılımıyla ve tasarım için kullanılan ortamlarla doğrudan ilişkilidir. Bilgisayar, farklı bir ortamdır bu bağlamda süreci, dolayısıyla sonuç ürünleri etkilemektedir. Mimarlık okullarının eğitim programlarında dijital tabanlı derslerin olduğu görülmektedir. Ancak mimari eğitimin odak noktası olan stüdyo dersleriyle, bilgisayar destekli derslerin entegrasyonunun geliştirilmesi gerektiği düşünülmektedir.Bu araştırma, tasarım pratiğindeki değişimin eğitim alanındaki etkileriyle ilgilenmekte, geleneksel tasarım modelleri ve dijital tasarım modelleri üstünde durmakta, tasarım geliştirme aşamasında dijital model ile çalışmanın geleneksel tasarım stüdyosuna ne gibi katkıları olacağını incelemektedir. Bu amaçla tasarım kuramları, dijital tasarım modelleri ve dijital tasarımın kuramsallaşması yönündeki araştırmalar, eğitim alanındaki yaklaşımlar, tasarım konusundaki araştırma modelleri, literatür olarak taranmış ve alan çalışmasının alt yapısı oluşturulmuştur.Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde çalışmanın konusu, amacı, kapsamı ve yöntemi ortaya konmuştur. İkinci bölümde ise tasarım kuramları üzerinde durulmuş, tasarım üzerinde yapılan araştırmaların hangi başlıklar altında yapıldığı incelenmiş ve tarihsel süreçte tasarım eğitimine yaklaşımlar ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde biçimi etkileyen faktörler incelenmiş, dijital tasarım kuramları ve modelleri bir kavram haritasına dönüştürülerek kuramsal bir çerçeve içerisinde formule edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Dördüncü bölüm, alan çalışmasında ele alınacak olan dijital model konusu ve bilgisayar ortamının temel karakteristikleri ile ilgilidir. Beşinci bölüm, alan çalışmasının amaç, kapsam ve yönteminin belirlendiği, ampirik çalışmanın verilerinin katılımcı bazında ele alındığı ve buradan genel bir değerlendirmeye ulaşıldığı bölümdür. Altıncı ve son bölümde ise sonuçlar ortaya konmuş ve tartışılmıştır.

To apprehend and apply the design concepts is directly related to the content of the education, the participation of the students to the design process and the design media facillities. The computer as a different design media affects the design process and also the design product. Accordingly, as a considerable fact, some of the courses in the architectural education program are based on the digital medium. However, enhanching the integration between the design courses, implemented in the studios (ateliers), as a main part of the architectural design education and the digital media courses is contemplated as an actual requirement.In this context, regarding to the complement enclosure of this research, considering the affection of the transformations of the design pragmatics to the design educations, the traditional and the digital design methodologies are comparative underscored, and also the contributions of the digital design methodology to the traditional way of artificial manufacturings are analysed during the development process of the design. For this purpose, the design theories, the digital design methodologies and accordingly the investigation properities about the construction of the theoritical conceptualization of the digital methodolgy, the approches about the education and the design methodologies are literally overviewed. This comparative analization had constitiued the main comprehension of this inquisition.In the first chapter of the research, the subject, which is mentioned particularly above, the purpose, the comprehension and also the methodology of the study had been emphasized. During the second part of the thesis, the architectural design theories have been asserted, the original classifications of the executed investigations about the design have been analised and also the approaches within the context of the design education methodologies have been displayed. In the third chapter, the subject, which affects the form, had been abstracted. According to this, the digital design theories and practicies had been transformed into a conceptual map as a reformulation in a context of a theoretical frame of the work. The fourth chapter had been related to the subject ?digital model? and also to the main characteristics of the digital media. The fifth chapter had been composed through the purpose, comprehension and the methodology of the case study, which had been determinated according to the datas based on the empirical study of the participants and also through the construction of a general evaluation in addition. In the sixth and the last chapter, the conclusions had been introduced and analysed.
