Özet
Bu çalışmada, metin dil bilim temelli metin çözümleme öğretiminin ilköğretim 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin okuduğunu anlama ve yorumlama düzeylerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu çalışma deneysel bir çalışmadır ve deneysel model olarak ?Kontrol Gruplu Ön ve Son Test Modeli? kullanılmıştır. İlköğretim 8. sınıf öğrencileri üzerinde gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmada 20'si deney, 21'i kontrol grubundan olmak üzere toplam 41 öğrenciden elde edilen veriler değerlendirilmiştir. Verilerin toplanması için araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ve 25 çoktan seçmeli sorudan oluşan ?Okuduğunu Anlama Becerisi Testi? kullanılmıştır.Elde edilen verilerin analizler sonucunda deney grubunun ?toplam erişide? kontrol grubuna göre daha başarılı olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca ?paragraf? ve ?paragrafta anlam? düzeyindeki soruları çözmede de deney grubu, kontrol grubuna göre daha başarılı olmuştur. Ancak ?sözcük?, ?cümle? ve ?paragrafta yapı? düzeyindeki soruları çözmede iki grup da aynı düzeyde başarı göstermiştir. Bu bulgu ve yorumlardan hareketle de uygulanan metin dil bilim temelli metin çözümleme öğretiminin diğer yöntemlere göre okuduğunu anlama ve yorumlama becerisini geliştirmede daha etkili olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

In this study, the affect of teaching text analyzing, that has based on text linguistics in reading and comprehension levels for 8th class students has been investigated. This is an experimental study and ?the model with pre and post testing controlling groups? is used fort the research. The output that has gained from 41 students, 20 of them are from experiment group and 21 of them are from the controlling group, has been evaluated during the research. In order to get the evaluation of the output, the test of Reading Comprehension Skills is used. The test is developed by the researcher and it includes 25 multi choice questions.After analyzing the output, it is seen that the experiment group is more successful than the achieving group. In addition, in solving ?paragraph? and ?the meaning in paragraph? questions, the experiment group has been more successful as well. But in understanding ?word? ?sentence? and ?the structure in paragraph? questions, both of the groups are equally successful. As a result of this experiment teaching text analyzing, that has based on text linguistics, is more affective in reading comprehension than the other techniques.
