Özet
Türkçenin tarihî bilim diline ışık tutmak için yaptığımız bu çalışma 15. yy. Eski Türkiye Türkçesine ait Tertìb-i Muèalece adlı eser üzerine yürütülmüştür.Genel tıp konusunda yazılmış olan eser hastalıklar, uygulanacak tedaviler ve ilaç yapımları ile ilgilidir ve bu konularda zengin bir terim kadrosuna sahiptir.Çalışma beş bölümden oluşur. Birinci bölüm giriş olup burada eser ve tıp tarihiyle ilgili bilgiler verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde eserin imlâ ve dilbilgisi özellikleri hakkında açıklamalar, değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın üçüncü bölümü yaygın çeviri yazı işaretlerine göre hazırlanan metindir. Metnin ardından gelen dördüncü bölümde, önce eserin içerdiği sözcükler ve bu sözcüklerin aldıkları eklerin dökümünün yapıldığı gramatikal dizin gelir. Dizini ise sözcüklerin tematik, köken ve yapı özelliklerine bakılarak hazırlanmış terimler sözlüğü takip eder.Çalışmanın sonucunda hem tarihî bilim dili hem de bilim tarihi açısından önemli bir kaynak gün ışığına çıkarılmış oldu. Ayrıca, 15. yy.da ilmi konularda yazılmış özellikle tıpla ilgili eserlerin Türkçeden yana oluşu, yabancı terimlere Türkçe karşılıkların aranmaya çalışıldığı gerçeği de gösterilmiş oldu. Diğer taraftan halen daha tarihî bilim dilimiz, özellikle de eski tıp dilimiz konusunda yürütülen çalışmaların yetersizliği dillendirildi. Bu alanda bir sözlüğe ihtiyaç duyulduğu gerçeği de gün yüzüne çıktı.
