Özet

Bilişim Teknolojileri ders saatinin yetersiz kalması nedeniyle, genellikle öğrenciler, ders ile ilgili öğrenme görevlerini yerine getirme amaçlı, yeterince birlikte çalışma olanağı bulamamaktadırlar. Bu nedenle öğrencilere proje çalışması yaptırmakta güçlükler yaşanmaktadır. Bu problemden yola çıkarak, bu tez çalışması kapsamında öğrencilerin ders saati dışında da hazırladıkları ödevleri, bu ödevlerle ilgili görüş ve düşüncelerini paylaşarak, işbirliği içinde çalışabilecekleri Ders Destek Web Sitesinin (DDWS) tasarlanması ve uygulanarak sonuçların değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.Araştırma deneysel desendedir. Araştırmanın bağımlı değişkenleri öğrencilerin ?Bilişim Teknolojileri Dersi? (BTD) akademik başarısı ve bu derse yönelik tutumudur. Bağımsız değişken ise öğretim yöntemidir. Deney grubu yüzyüze proje tabanlı öğrenme ile birlikte ders destek sitesinden yararlanırken kontrol grubu sadece yüzyüze proje tabanlı öğrenme yöntemine göre ders işlemişlerdir. Araştırma Sakarya Merkez İlçedeki bir okulda, 6. Sınıfta okuyan seçkisiz yöntemle 23'ü deney, 22'si kontrol grubu olarak belirlenen toplam 45 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Veri toplama araçları BTD'ne yönelik tutum ölçeği ve dereceli puanlama anahtarıdır. Ayrıca deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin denkliğinin belirlenmesinde öğrencilerin Milli Eğitim Bakanlığınca yapılan Seviye Belirleme Testi puanları ve BT dersi notları kullanılmıştırVerilerin analizinde normal dağılım varsayımının karşılanması için Shapiro-Wilk testi, gruplar arası karşılaştırmalar için t-testi ve öntestlere göre düzeltilmiş sontest puanlarının karşılaştırılması için Kovaryans analizi (ANCOVA) kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre kontrol ve deney grubunun tutumları arasındaki anlamlı bir farklılık çıkmamıştır. Öğrencilerin akademik başarıları arasında ise anlamlı bir farklılık görülmüştür. Deney grubunun performans puanları kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı olarak daha yüksek çıkmıştır. Bu bulgu DDWS'nin destek olarak kullanılmasının öğrencilerin proje çalışmalarındaki başarılarını olumlu yönde anlamlı olarak artırdığı şeklinde yorumlanabilir. Bilişim Teknolojileri dersinin işlenmesinde öğretmenlerin DDWS hazırlamaları ve kullanmaları önerilmektedir.

Students in Information Technologies Lessons generally could not find sufficient time to make team study within the lectures, because of insufficient number of IT lecture hours. So difficulties are faced with about making students to do team project studies. In relation with this problem, in this thesis study, designing and application of a Lesson Supporting Web Site (LSWS) with the analysis of its results were aimed. Such a Lesson Supporting Web Site will provide students to share their homeworks, advices about these homeworks with each other, and to have the chance to make team studies together.Experimental methods were used in this research study. Dependent variables have been students? academic success in the Lesson of Information Technologies, and their attitudes to this lesson. Independent variable has been the instruction method. While the control group only studied according to the method of face-to-face project based learning, the experimental group not only studied according to the method of face-to-face project based learning but also used the lesson supporting web site. The research was performed with 45 students (23 experimental, 22 control) that were making their 6th year primary school education in a primary school in Adapazarı. Data acquisition tools have been attitude scale related with the lesson of information technologies, and grading scale key.In the data analysis; Shapiro-Wilk Test for covering normal distribution hypothesis, T-Test for the comparison between the groups, and Covariance Analysis (ANCOVA) for the comparison of final test grades that were corrected due to pre-tests were used. As the results of the analyzes, the attitudes of experimental and control groups did not differ meaningfully, but an expressive difference has occurred between the academic success of the students in experimental and control groups. Performance grades of the experimental group were meaningfully higher than the control group?s grades. According to these results, Lesson Supporting Web Site application might increase the success of students in project studies. Lecturers are provided to prepare and use LSWS while lecturing in the Lesson of Information Technologies.
