Özet
Konu rollerini, özgün bir Türkçe Eylem Veritabanı (TEV) temelinde, özgün ve kapsayıcı bir Anlambilimsel Konu Rolleri Modeli (AKRM) önermeyi hedefleyen çalışmanın içeriği aşağıda özetlenmiştir.1. bölümde, önemi, amaçları, araştırma soruları ve denenceleri çerçevesinde çalışmanın tanıtımı yer almaktadır.2. bölümde, yabancı alanyazındaki ve Türkçe alanyazındaki yaklaşımlar biçiminde ayrımlanan kuramsal çerçeve sunumunda; konu rollerinin alanyazındaki yeri; durum, değiştirimler, örtüşme, etkilenmişlik, ettirgenlik ve hareket kavramları temelinde betimlenmiştir.Kuramlardaki tartışmalı noktaların netleşebilmesi için, belli diller üzerinden yapılan genellemelerin ve sınırlı sayıda uç dilden gelen karşı örneklerin Türkçe veriyle sorgulanması hedefiyle, Türkçede konu rolleri tartışmasına zemin olacak özgün bir Türkçe Eylem Veritabanı olan TEV oluşturulmuştur. 3. bölümde TEV'in oluşturulma süreci ve inceleme alanları betimlenerek, Türk Dil Kurumu Türkçe Sözlük (TDKTS) (2005)'deki maddebaşı tüm eylemler, belirlenen biçimsel ve anlamsal otuz ölçüt çerçevesinde incelenmiş ve görünümler sayısal verileriyle birlikte sunulmuştur.4. bölümde, TEV temelinde, evrensel olabileceği öngörülen bir Anlambilimsel Konu Rolleri Modeli (AKRM) önerilerek; öncelikle, eylemleri ve konu rollerini ayrıştırdığı varsayılan anlam ilkelleri gerekçelendirilmiş, ardından Kılıcı, Neden, Araç, Güç, Etkilenen, Neden Olunan, Alıcı, Olumlu Yararlanan, Olumsuz Yararlanan, Etkilenmeyen, Yansız, Konu, Zaman, Hedef, Kaynak, Yer ve Deneyimleyen rolleri incelenerek, tüm roller için kapsayıcı olduğu öngörülen dörtlü bir sınıflandırma önerilmiştir.AKRM'deki ilkeller ve sözü edilen dörtlü sınıflandırmayı Türkçe anadili konuşucularının sezgileriyle sınamak üzere bir Türkçede Konu Rolleri Sormacası (TKRS) düzenlenmiştir. 5. bölümde TKRS'nin içeriği, sınırlılıkları, hazırlanma süreci, katılımcı profili, uygulanma süreci, veri çözümlemesi, bulguların sunumu ve vargılar yer almaktadır.Çalışmanın öncelikli hedefi, alanyazında sayıları ve anlam içerikleri oldukça tartışmalı olan ve başlı başına bir inceleme konusu olarak ele alınmamış konu rollerine Türkçe veri üzerinden bütüncül ve kapsayıcı anlambilimsel bir yaklaşım sunabilmek ve ileriki çalışmalar için daha net bir zemin oluşturabilmektir.

The contents of this study which aims to propose an original and comprehensive Semantic Model of Thematic Roles (SMTR) on the basis of an original Database of Turkish Verbs (DTV) is as follows.The 1st section is the introductory one with the importance, the aims, the research questions and the hypotheses of the study.The 2nd section is the presentation of the theoretical perspective which is divided into two main subsections, first of which is devoted to the review of foreign literature and the second one is devoted to the review of Turkish literature. The status of thematic roles in linguistics literature is presented around the phenomena of the case, alternations, mapping, affectedness, causativity and the actionality.In order to question the validity of the generalizations made over a few number of languages and counterexamples of a fewer number of marginal languages which is essential to clarify the theoretical points of discussion, an original Database of Turkish Verbs (DTV) -to be a solid basis for discussions on thematic roles in Turkish- has been developed. In the 3rd section, the developmental processes and fields of analysis of DTV is explained, and all verb entries listed in the Dictionary of Turkish Language Institute (DTLI) (2005) analyzed through 30 predetermined morphological and semantic criteria are presented together with their numbers and percentages to the whole.In the 4th section, an original Semantic Model of Thematic Roles (SMTR) on the basis of DTV is proposed. Then the semantic primitives which distinguish the verbs and the primitives which distinguish the thematic roles are justified. After the analysis of the thematic roles the Agent, Cause, Instrument, Force, Affected, Causee, Recipient, Beneficiary, Maleficiary, Unaffected, Neutral, Theme, Time, Goal, Source, Location and the Experiencer, a quartet classification is suggested to be comprehensive of all of the roles above.To test the mentioned primitives and the quartet classification of SMTR, a Questionnaire of Thematic Roles in Turkish (QTRT) has been designed. In the 5th section, there are the contents, limitations, process of preparation, participant profile and the application process of QTRT together with the analysis of the data and the presentation of the findings and results.The intended purpose of the study is to leave a more clear ground for future studies proposing an extensive semantic approach for thematic roles, the number and the semantic content of which have been debated on, though there is not any known study in Turkish in itself.
