Özet
Bu araştırma; ilköğretim 8.sınıflar matematik dersinde, sayılar öğrenme alanının kareköklü sayılar alt öğrenme alanında Gagne'nin öğretim modeliyle oluşturulan öğretim yazılımının bilgisayar destekli öğretim yöntemi yardımıyla uygulanarak, geleneksel öğretim yöntemine kıyasla öğrenci başarısını ve tutumunu belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Araştırma öğrenci merkezli olup her öğrenciyi aktif hale getiren bir yöntemin etkisini ölçmeye yöneliktir. Bu amaçla, araştırmanın başlangıcında ilgili kaynaklar taranıp, gerekli bilgiler elde edildikten sonra bir araştırma projesi hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmada, tez projesinde belirtildiği gibi ?farklı kontrol gruplu öntest-sontest modeli? kullanılmıştır.Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini, Ankara İli Çankaya İlçesi ilköğretim 8.sınıf öğrencileri örneklemini ise Ankara İli Çankaya İlçesinde bulunan MEB'e bağlı ilköğretim okulundaki 8.sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır.Araştırma, matematik dersini aynı öğretmenden alan iki farklı sınıfa uygulanmıştır. Deney grubu 26, kontrol grubu 27 öğrenciden oluşmuştur. Deney grubuna Gagne'nin öğretim modeliyle hazırlanan öğretim yazılımını bilgisayar destekli öğretim yöntemi ile kontrol grubuna ise geleneksel öğretim yöntemi ile ders işlenmiştir.Veri toplama aracı olarak, öğrenciler için anlatılan kareköklü sayılar konusuyla ilgili başarı testi hazırlanmış ve her iki gruba uygulama öncesi, sonrası ve bitiminden yaklaşık bir ay sonra olmak üzere toplam üç kez yapılmıştır. Sorular çoktan seçmeli olup, kazandırılması hedeflenen davranışları kapsayacak şekilde hazırlanmıştır. Başarı testinin hazırlanması aşamasında 9.sınıf öğrencilerine deneme uygulaması yapılmış, uzman görüşüne başvurulmuş, testin madde analizi, geçerlilik güvenilirlik incelemesi yapılmıştır. Ardından uygulamaya geçilmiştir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin matematik dersine yönelik tutumlarını ölçmek amacıyla, deney ve kontrol gruplarına tutum ölçeği uygulanmıştır.Verilerin çözümlemesi aşamasında, grupların ortalama puanları arasındaki fark t-testi ile sınanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda; Gagne'nin öğretim modeliyle hazırlanan öğretim yazılımlı bilgisayar destekli öğretim yönteminin geleneksel öğretim yöntemine göre daha başarılı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca Gagne'nin öğretim modeliyle hazırlanan öğretim yazılımlı bilgisayar destekli öğretim yönteminin öğrencileri derse daha iyi motive ederek, öğrencilerin başarısını ve derse olan ilgisini arttırdığı görülmüştür.

This study is implemented to identify the effect of the teaching software which is prepared with Gagne?s teaching model implemented with computer based teaching method on students? success rate and learners? attitudes compared to traditional teaching method at primary school eight graders? mathematics lesson on Square Rooted Numbers subtopic of Numbers learning area.This study is student-centered and is aimed to effect of a learning approach that makes each student participate actively. For this aim, at the beginning of the study a research project is prepared after scanning related sources and getting necessary information. As mentioned in the thesis project, different control grouped pretest-final test model is used in this research.This study is applied to eighth grader students at a state primary school in Çankaya city of Ankara.The study is applied to two different classes which were taught mathematics by the same teacher. The experimental group consisted of 26, and the control group consisted of 27 students. The experimental group is taught by the teaching software prepared with Gagne?s teaching model using computer based teaching method, and the control group is taught with traditional teaching method.As a means of data collection, an achievement test on square rooted numbers is prepared and it was applied to both experimental and control groups three times before the experiment, after the experiment and about one month?s time after the experiment. The test items, which consisted of multiple-choice questions, are prepared covering the objective behaviours. In the process of achievement test preparation, the test is implemented to ninth grader students and expert opinion is consulted. Then, examination of the item analysis, reliability and validity of the test is done. After that, it is put into practice. Moreover, for the aim of seeing the students? attitudes about mathematics lesson, attitude measurement is applied to both the experimental and the control groups.In the process of the data analysis, the difference between the mediation points of the groups is tested through t-test. In the result of the study, compared to traditional teaching method the computer based teaching method with the teaching software prepared using Gagne?s teaching model has been identified to be more successful in motivating the students to learn and raising their academic success rate besides their interest in the lesson.
