Özet
Bu Tez Çalışmasında; öncelikle, toplum, toplumsal değişme ve toplumsal değişme sürecinde eğitimin rolünü açıklamaya yöneliktir. Bu çalışmada önce toplum tanımları, toplumsal değişme arasındaki ilişkiler, kuramlar, toplumsal değişme ve eğitim arasındaki ilişkiyi ele alan görüşlere teorik olarak yer vermekte, konuyla ilgili kaynak taraması yapılmış ve eğitimin toplumsal değişmedeki rolü incelenerek değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır.Toplumu genel olarak tanımlarsak; sosyal ihtiyaçları karşılamak için etkileşen ve ortak bir kültürü paylaşan çok sayıda insanın oluşturduğu birlikteliktir. Toplumu incelediğimizde; sosyal gereksinmelerini karşılamak için etkileşen ve ortak bir kültürü paylaşan çok sayıdaki insanın oluşturduğu bir birlikteliktir. Toplum insanları belli bir yerde ve zamanda bir araya getirir, böylece insanlar birbirleriyle insani ilişkilere girişebilirler, bu mekânsal durum, toplumun işlevlerini yerine getirmesinde bir temel sağlar.Toplumsal değişme ve eğitim ilişkisini değerlendirdiğimizde; toplum, değişen şartlara ve zamana göre çeşitli evrelerden geçmiş, öncelikle tarıma dayalı bir toplum varken, değişme ile sanayi toplumuna geçiş yaşanmış, sanayi toplumunda, buhar gücünün bulunması, fabrikalarda kullanılmaya başlaması ile, insan gücü ve emeğinden çok artık makinelerin kullanımı artmış ve özellikle 2. Dünya Savaşından sonra yaşanan teknolojik gelişmeler ve bu gelişmenin ortaya çıkardığı değişim neticesinde günümüzde de içerisinde yaşadığımız Bilgi toplumuna geçiş yaşanmış artık makineler, bilgisayar teknolojileri sayesinde çok büyük kolaylıklar yaşanmaya başlanmıştır. Tüm bu süreçlerin meydana gelmesindeki en önemli etken olarak eğitimi görmekteyiz. Çünkü; insan, bu yaşanan gelişmeleri kullanan ve yöneten bir olgudur. İnsanın eğitimi ile tüm bu değişim süreçleri yaşanmış, eğitim bu teknolojik gelişmenin ihtiyaç duyduğu, bilimsel metotları benimsemiş, bilgili, kalifiye insan yetiştirilmesini sağlayan en önemli etken olarak kendisini göstermiştir.Anahtar Kavramlar:Toplum, Toplumsal Değişme, Eğitim, Tarım Toplumu, Sanayi Devrimi,

This thesis, before all else, aims to explain society, social change, and the role of education during the process of social change. This work theoratically presents the opinions that deal with society identifications, the relationships between social change, theories, the relationship between social change and education. A thorough resource search abouth the subject is conducted and the role of education in social change is examined and evaluated.When we examine the society, it is the cummune which is formed by many human being who interact to satisfy their socual needs, and who share a common culture. Society brings the people tegether at acertain time and place, therefore people are able to establish humanly relationships with each other. This spatial situation forms a bas efor society to fulfill its functions.When we evaluate the relationship between social change and education; society has undegone various phases due to changing conditions and time. Firstly, the society was agriculture dependant, then industrial society has arised. In the industrial society, the innovation of the usage of steam power to operate the machines led to replacement of the usage of human power and effort with the usage of the machines. The technological advancements, especially after teh World War II, and the changes caused by these advancements led to the transition to informationsociety, in which we all live today. Today, thanks to the machines and computer Technologies, people experience certain conveniences. We consider the education as the most important factor on these processes. Because, human beings use and manage tehese advancements. The education of people has enabled all these processes. Because, human beings use and manage the advancements.
