Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı; İlköğretim Matematik Öğretmenliği (İMÖ) Lisans Programında yer alan Okul Deneyimi (OD) ve Öğretmenlik Uygulaması (ÖU) derslerinin hedefler, dersin işlenişi, öğretim elemanı davranışları, uygulama öğretmeni davranışları, değerlendirme süreci, dersin verimliliği, sorunlar ve daha verimli geçmesi için öneriler boyutları dikkate alınarak öğretmen adayı görüşleri doğrultusunda değerlendirmektir. Betimsel tarama modeli kullanılan araştırmanın örneklemini kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen 514 İMÖ Anabilim Dalı dördüncü sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Anketleri 310 öğretmen adayı cevaplamıştır. Anketler ile toplanan veriler frekans ve yüzde değerleri hesaplanarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda; ÖU dersinde öğretim elemanlarının ve uygulama öğretmenlerinin öğretmen adaylarının işlediği dersi gözlemleme oranının düşük olduğu, öğretmen adaylarının OD ve ÖU derslerinde seminer çalışmalarına katılımlarının düşük olduğu ve ÖU dersinde uygulama okulunda bizzat ders işleme saatinin az olduğu ortaya çıkmaktadır. Öğretmen adaylarının çoğu öğretim elemanlarının ve uygulama öğretmenlerinin davranışlarını olumsuz değerlendirmektedir. Öğretmen adayları OD ve ÖU derslerinin olduğu dönemlerde başka ders alınmamasını veya bu derslerin her dönem olmasını önermektedir. Öğretim elemanına, uygulama öğretmenine ve uygulama okulu yöneticisine hizmet içi eğitim programları düzenlenmesi ve öğretmen adaylarına daha fazla uygulama yapma imkânı verilmesi önerileri sunulmaktadır.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the goals of school experience and teaching practice courses in undergraduate program of the elementary mathematics education by taking into consideration the objectives of the lesson, the behaviours of mentor teachers, the behaviours of practice school teachers, the process of evalutaion, the efficiency of the lessons, problems and the recommendations about how to make a more efficient course by taking the teacher trainees' ideas. In the study, the descriptive survey model is used. By using the convenience sampling method, there are 514 prospective teachers in the sample of the study. 310 prospective teachers have filled the survey forms. The data is analyzed by frequency and percentages. At the end of the study, the rate of observations by the faculty teacher and practice school teacher during the prospective teachers? lessons is low, the rate of the participation of the prospective teachers to the seminars is low and the teaching hours of the prospective teachers in their practice schools are low. Most of prospective teachers have negative opinion about the behaviours of mentor teachers and practice school teachers. The preservice teachers have recommended that school experience and teaching practice courses are the only courses during the one term or these courses are in all terms of the preservice teacher education program. The recommendations are“the seminars should be organized for the mentor teachers, practice school teachers and practice school managers and the preservice teacher should have more opprtunity for training”.
