Özet
Bu tez, İstanbul Menkul Kıymetler Borsası'nda işlem görmekte olan otomotiv sektörü firmalarının sermaye maliyetlerini tespit etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu bakımdan, sermaye yapısı, sermaye maliyeti ve Türkiye'de otomotiv sektörünün durumu ele alındıktan sonra, 2003-2010 döneminde her yıl için sermaye maliyetleri hesaplanmıştır. Çalışmada özsermaye maliyetlerinin belirlenmesi için ?Finansal Varlıkları Fiyatlandırma Modeli? kullanılmıştır. Bilanço dipnotları ve şirket yetkililerinden sağlanan bilgiler ışığında borç maliyetleri tespit edilmiştir. Her bir kaynağın toplam sermaye içindeki payı da dikkate alınarak ağırlıklı ortalama sermaye maliyetleri hesaplanmıştır.

This thesis is primarily written to represent the estimated costs of trading companies in automotive sector computed and calculated by İstanbul Stock Exchange. Based upon the capital structure, the cost of capital and the current circumstances of automotive industry in Turkey, the capital costs from 2003 to 2010 were calculated in each year. ?The Capital Assets Pricing Model? is utilized in this study to designate the equity costs. The debt costs were ascertained in the light of foregoing information recorded by company officials and referred balance sheet footnotes. Taking the portions of each source in total capital into account, weighted average costs were computed.
