Özet

Fen ve Teknoloji eğitiminde anlamlı ve kalıcı öğrenmelerin gerçekleşmesi için öğrenme öğretme ortamlarında farklı metotlar, yöntemler ve teknikler kullanılmaktadır. Araştırmada; çoklu yazma etkinlikleri ve yaparak yazarak bilim öğrenme metodu kullanılarak işlenen Güneş Sistemi ve Ötesi ünitesinin akademik başarıya, kavram öğrenmeye, bilimsel süreç becerilerine, fen tutumuna etkisi incelenmiştir.Araştırma 2011-2012 Eğitim Öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Sultanbeyli ilçesindeki bir ilköğretim okulunda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 7.sınıfta öğrenim gören 114 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Güneş Sistemi ve Ötesi ünitesi deney grupları çoklu yazma öğrencilerine etkinlikleri ve yaparak yazarak bilim öğrenme metodu ile işlenirken, kontrol grubu öğrencilerine ise geleneksel öğretim yöntemleriyle işlenmiştir. Araştırma nicel bir çalışma olup, deneysel bir desen kullanılmıştır.Araştırmada veri aracı olarak, başarı testi, kavrama testi, bilimsel süreç becerileri testi ve tutum ölçeği hem ön hem de son test olarak uygulanmıştır. Veriler SPSS 16 istatistik program kullanılarak Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi ve t testleri analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; astronomi konusunun çoklu yazma etkinlikleri ve yaparak yazarak bilim öğrenme kullanılarak öğretilmesi geleneksel öğrenme metoduna göre öğrenci başarısını, astronomi kavramlarını öğrenmeyi ve fene karşı tutumu olumlu etkilerken, bilimsel süreç becerilerin de anlamlı bir değişiklik olmamıştır.

In science lessons, to provide meaningful and long-term learning; methods and techniques are used in the teaching-learning environment. In this research, using the method of multiple writing activities and science writing heuristic method in science lesson on academic achievement, conceptual comphrehension, scientific process abilities and students' attitude to science teaching has been analyzed.The study was done in a primary school in Sultanbeyli province, in the city of Istanbul in the 2011-2012 education year. The sample of the study is 114 seventh grade students. The solar system and beyond unit was taught with multiple writing methods and science writing heuristic methods for the experiment groups students, on contrary to the experiment group; for control group students present teaching methods was used. The study is quantitative study, and an experimental pattern was used.In order to collect information during the study, the achievement, concept, scientific process ability test and science & technology attitude scale were applied both pre and post test. The data was analyzed by ANOVA and t tests of SPSS 16 statistic program. At the end; eaching the subject of“astronomy”with multiple writing activities and science writing heuristic method has a positive effect on success, conceptual learning and attitude to science learning-teaching but there is no affect on scientific process ability.
