Özet
Kyzikos antik kenti, Erdek-Bandırma karayolunun 9. km'sinde, Düzler Mevkii'nde bulunan, Anadolu'nun Antik dönemden günümüze ulaşmış en önemli kentlerinden birisidir. Önemli bir ticaret ve kültür merkezi olarak kabul gören kent, Propontis'in güney kıyısındaki konumu itibariyle de Anadolu'nun batıya açılan kapısı niteliğindedir. Bu çalışmada 2010 Kyzikos kazı sezonunda bulunan Geç Roma Dönemi definesi incelenmiştir. Sikkelerin hepsi(198tane)temizleme kapsamına alınmış, fakat sadece 113 tanesi okunabilmiştir. Geri kalanların üzerindekikorozyon tabakasının yoğunluğundan dolayı okunmadığından çıkartılmıştır.Definedeki sikkeler incelenip tasnif edildiklerinde toplam 6 imparatorun saltanat yıllarını kapsadığı görülmüştür. Tanımlanamayan sikkeler dışında diğerlerinin darphaneleri ve darp yılları belirlenmiştir. Definemizdeki imparator, imparatoriçe ve imparatorların caesarlık dönemlerine ait olan sikkelerin dağılımına bakıldığında Delmatius sikkelerinin çoğunlukta olduğu dikkat çekmektedir. Definemizde en fazla sikkesi olan darphane Kyzikos'tur. Bu define toplam 6 imparatorun (İmparator, İmparatoriçe, Caesar) saltanat süresini kapsamaktadır. Define sikkeleri 6 farklı kişi adına basılmış olup, bu kişilerin portresi de sikke üzerinde bulunmaktadır. Sonuç olarak bu definede en çok sikkesi olan imparator belirlenmiş, daha sonra en geç tarihli sikkeden yola çıkılarak definenin gömü tarihi tespit edilmiştir.

The ancient city of Cyzicus, situated in the 9th km of the Erdek-Bandırma highway, Düzler Locality, is one of the most important cities of Anatolia which has reached from Ancient Times to today. The city which is accepted as an important centre of trade and culture serves as a gate of Anatolia to the west thanks to its location in the south shore of Propontis. In this study, Late Roman Era treasure which was found within the Cyzicus excavation season 2010 was examined. All of the coins (198 pieces) were taken into cleaning process; however, only 113 of them could be read. The rest were excluded as they could not be read due to the corrosion level on them. When the coins in the treasure were examined and classified, it was seen that they were belong to the reign years of 6 emperors. The mints and coining years of the coins except for the ones which could not be read were determined. When the distribution of the coins in the treasure which belonged to emperors, empresses and the Caesar time was reviewed, it becomes obvious that the coins of Delmatius constitute the majority. Cyzicus is the mint with the most coins. This treasure covers the reign years of 6 emperors (emperor, empresses and Caesar). The coins in the treasure were minted in the name of 6 different people and the portraits of these people are present on the coins. In conclusion, the emperor with the most coins in this treasure was determined, and then the burial date of the treasure was determined judging from the coin with the latest date on it.
