Özet
Araştırmada İstanbul ili Avrupa yakasında üretilmekte olan deri giyim aksesuarlarını yerinde inceleyerek kullanılan malzeme, teknik boyutları, kompozisyon özellikleri açısından belgelenmesi, rapor haline getirilmesi ve yeterliliğinin ortaya konulması, ayrıca piyasa ve atölyelerde bulunan deri giyim aksesuarlarını tanıtımının yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmayı İstanbul ili piyasalarında bulunan dekoratif giyim aksesuarları oluşturmaktadır. Ekte sunulan 20 adet anket sorusundan oluşan anket formu, araştırmacı tarafından incelemeye alınan 15 adet imalat ve satış sahiplerine uygulanarak bilgiler elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca 100 adet deri giyim aksesuarının ayrı ayrı fotoğrafları çekilmiş çeşit, renk, kullanım yeri ve kalitesi açısından incelenmiştir. Atölyelerde üretilen ürünler, Türk El Sanatları geleneklerini yansıtmakta olup tüketici tercihleri doğrultusunda modaya uygun ve kaliteli olmasına dikkat edilmektedir. İşyeri sahipleri ve çalışanlar kalitesiz ve ucuz ithalat ürünlerinin fazlalığı, kalifiye eleman azlığı gibi güçlüklerle karşılaşmaktadırlar.“İstanbul'da Deri Giyim Aksesuarlarının Araştırılması ve İncelenmesi”konulu tez çalışması ile yapay ürünlerle derinin yerinin doldurulamayacağı ve derinin sürekli olacağı sonucuna varılabilir. Özellikle İstanbul turizminin önemli yerlerinden Kapalı Çarşı ve Galata Kulesi etrafındaki turistik eşya pazarlaması yapan işyerlerinde, turistlerin deri çanta ve dekoratif deri ürünlerini tercih etmelerinin sebebi, derinin sağlıklı ve uzun ömürlü olduğunu düşünmeleridir. Bu araştırma, teknolojik gelişmelerle her geçen gün yok olmaya yüz tutan el sanatlarımızın günümüz şartlarına uygun kullanılabilir hale getirilerek yaşatılması gerektiğini bir kez daha göz önüne sermiştir.

With this reasearch we aim to examine, in place, the Leather Clothıng Accessories produced on the European side of Istanbul in order to certify, report and to define them in terms of material use, technical dimensions and composition properties as well as promoting Leather Clothing Accessories found in the market and workshops. The research constitutes the market located in the province of Istanbul decorative clothing accessories. The data have been collected, by applying a questionnaire (annex ....) consisting of 20 survey questions to the 15 business owners who are manufacturers and marketing executives having been observed by the researcher.100 pieces of leather clothing accessories have been photographed separately and examined in terms of type, color, place of use and quality. The products manufactured in the workshops reflect the Turkish Handicrafts traditions, attention is paid to being of high quality and trendy in line with consumer preferences. Business owners and employees face difficulties such as the glut of poor quality and cheap import products and the lack of qualified personnel. Through this thesis entitled“ Researching and Examining the Leather Clothıng Accessories in Istanbul”we can conclude that artificial products could not fill the place of real leather. Especially around the Grand Bazaar and the Galata Tower that are Istanbul's major tourist destinations, tourists prefer leather bags and decorative leather products to artificial products in souvenir shops because they think the real leather is healthy and durable. This research reveals that our handicrafts that face the risk of extinction with the technological advances should be kept alive by making them suitable to present conditions.
