Özet
Araştırmada, Otelcilik ve Turizm Meslek Lisesi programı uygulayan okullarda öğrenim gören 11. ve 12. sınıf öğrencilerinin işletmede beceri eğitimlerini gerçekleştirirken karşılaştıkları sorunların tespiti ve bu sorunlara çözüm önerileri getirilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Bu çalışma toplam üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde eğitim kavramı ile eğitimin amacı ve işlevi, ikinci bölümde turizm kavramı ile dünyada ve Türkiye'de turizm eğitimi kavramları ele alınırken üçüncü bölümde Otelcilik ve Turizm Meslek Liselerinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin beceri eğitimi sırasında karşılaştıkları sorunların tespiti ve çözüm önerileri yer almaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini; Adana, Bursa, Çanakkale, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Nevşehir, İstanbul ve Sakarya illerindeki“OTML”de eğitim gören toplam 615 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma sürecinde Otelcilik ve Turizm Meslek Lisesi programı uygulayan okullarda öğrenim gören öğrencilere, işletmede beceri eğitimi ile ilgili değerlendirmeleri içeren anket uygulanmıştır. Uygulanan anket sonuçları SPSS paket programı kullanılarak faktör analizi yapılmak sureti ile analiz edilmiş ve tablolar düzenlenerek yorumlanmıştır. Anket çalışması 382 erkek, 177 bayan öğrenci üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın sonucunda, erkek öğrencilerin öğrenim gördükleri alanlara daha olumlu baktıkları tespit edilmiştir. Buna karşılık bayan öğrenciler, erkek öğrencilere göre çalışma saatlerine daha olumlu bakmaktadır. 12. sınıf öğrencileri, işletmede çalışanlar ve yöneticilerin beceri eğitiminde öğrencilere davranışlarını 11. sınıf öğrencilerine göre daha olumlu bulmaktadır. Yıldızlı otellerde beceri eğitimi yapan öğrencilerin beceri eğitimine bakışı diğer işletmelerde çalışan öğrencilerden daha olumludur. Servis bölümü öğrencileri ile mutfak bölümü öğrencilerinin diğer alanlarda öğrenim gören öğrencilere göre beceri eğitimine daha olumlu baktıkları ulaşılan bulgular arasındadır. Öğrencilerin araştırmada ki ölçeklere ait puan ortalamaları“kısmen katılıyorum”düzeyinde gerçekleşmiştir. Buradan hareketle beceri eğitiminin genelinden kısmen memnun oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This study is aimed to find out the problems of the 11th and 12th grade students of Hotel Management and Tourism High School programmes that they face during carrying out their skills training managements and find solutions to these problems. This study consists of three parts totally.In the first part, the notion of education and the aim and the function of education are dealt. In the second part,the notion of tourism and the training of tourism in the World and in Turkey are dealt with while in the third part the problems of the students of Hotel Management and Tourism High School programmes that they face during their skill training managements and the proposal of solutions are concerned. A total number of 615 students studying at Hotel Management and Tourism High Schools in Adana, Bursa, Çanakkale, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Nevşehir, İstanbul and Sakarya constitutes the field of this study. During the study,a questionnaire was carried out to those students including their assessments with skill tarining management.The results of the survey were analysed by the SPSS programme for factor analysis and were interpreted by organising tables. The questionaire was applied to 382 male and 177 female students.At the end of this study,it was ascertained that the male students were more likely to be positive to their fields of trainings. Correspondingly, the female students were more positive to the working hours than the males. The 12th grade students looked on the attitudes in favor toward the training students by the staff and the management than the 11th grade students. Students who are training in starred hotels have a more positive view to skill tarining than those having their skill trainings in different fields. Another finding was that students of service and kitchen departments have a more positive view to skill tarining than the students of other departments. The average sum of the students belonging to the whole scales in this survey was at the level of“ Partly Agree”. From this point, it is figured out that the students were partly satisfied with their skill tarinings.
