The aim of this study is to gain a detailed understanding of how Tablet PCs were used as learning and teaching intruments in the initial stage of the project in one of the pilot primary schools in Turkey. In addition, it intends to analyse teachers'and students' attitudes towards the implementation of Tablet PCs and to analyse the positive and negative outcomes from the use of Tablet PCs in the learning and teaching environment. Within this case study, a variety of data collection techniques such as questionnaires, classroom observations and one-to-one interviews were utilised. The results of this study show that the responses from the all students were overwhelmingly positive about the use of Tablet PCs on their learning experiences. Moreover, although teachers accepted the potential of Tablet PCs which enable active communication, collaboration, motivation and promotion of visual in the classroom, the restrictions, lack of professional support and technical problems of Tablet PCs caused teachers to have negative views and experiences.
