İNGİLİZCE AB5TRAKT (en fazla 250 sözcük) ; SUMMARY »Theacher' is the only element to ensure that the real training objective is achieved. This, however, depends on how efficient guidance could be provided by teacher' book(s) used as a source. It is very important that the books to be used by teachers are prepared most carefully; for 'teacher' is the most important factor in the training system. It is for this reason that this study covers the subject as titled 'study on Turkish language and literature bacheolar's degree instruction books for 3-year graduates of training institutes prepared by Anadolu University Open Education Faculty' viewing how useful are these books for teachers on various topics and how well of guidance they provide including thoughts related to distant educational techniques. When considered, tliere is not a similiar distant training system practiced in the world. Open faculty educational programme is such a programme requiring a great deal of preparatory work. This practice is supported by radio-television and computer programes along with books. Also included in this.programme is consultancy system. An academic committe first apply the programme on a small scale then expanding it on larger scales after receiving feed-back and making necessary amendment within the frame-work of feed-back received. Instructors in this programme are involved in various areas such as coordination, consultancy, and etc. In this open faculty educaitional system take place seminars and face-to-face meeting possibhties. Where as, bs degree completion programme started-by the Anadolu University Open Education Faculty- is only applied via radio and television programmes and books. Because this practice is new there are many lacking points such as bindings and covers of the books prepared by this faculty for the Turkish language and literature bs completion programme, typesetting, spelling and punctuation marking mistakes; language used being unintelligible; expossitions and explanations being insufficient; lack of Required information (due to disregarding university carriculum) such as the Ottoman Turkish Language, Historic Turkish Accents, Persian Language and Arabic; examples given being at sanior high school level; not being selective from the point of authors and their works; repetion of topics in the contents -as some striking points.. If the bs completion programe İs practiced at our universities inclusive face-to-face training from- as an in- service training activity.
