Özet
Bu araştırma ile fen ve teknoloji dersi“Hücre Bölünmesi ve Kalıtım”ünitesinin öğretiminde, bilgisayar destekli öğretim yöntemi ve geleneksel öğretim yönteminin öğrenci başarısı üzerine etkisi incelenmiştir.Araştırma, 2014–2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında Kayseri ili Sarız ilçesinde bulunan bir ortaokulun sekizinci sınıfları üzerinde dört hafta boyunca yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın yapıldığı okulda 50 öğrenciye bilgisayar destekli öğretim yöntemi, 50 öğrenciye ise geleneksel öğretim yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada ön test – son test kontrol gruplu araştırma deseni uygulanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak“Hücre Bölünmesi ve Kalıtım Ünitesi Başarı Testi”uygulanmıştır. Bulguların istatistiksel analizi SPSS 20 programında yapılmış ve 0.05 anlamlılık düzeyine göre yorumlanmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre; bilgisayar destekli öğretim yönteminin uygulandığı grubun elde ettiği başarı puanları, geleneksel yöntemin uygulandığı kontrol grubunun başarı puanlarına göre yüksek ve aralarındaki fark anlamlı çıkmıştır. Buna göre bilgisayar destekli öğretim yönteminin öğrenci başarısına etkisi, geleneksel öğretim yönteminin öğrenci başarısına etkisinden daha fazla olduğu görülmüştür.

With this investigation, the effects of Computer Assisted Teaching Method and Traditional Teaching Method on students' achievement levels has been examined in teaching“Cell Division and Heredity”Unit.The investigation has been applied to the 8th grade students at Sarız Türk Telekom Boarding Secondary School for 4 weeks in 2014-2015 educational year. To 50 students Computer Assisted Teaching method and to 50 other students Traditional Teaching method has been applied. In the investigation pretest - posttest pattern has been applied. Achievement test has been applied as data collection tool. Statistical analysis of findings has been performed on SPSS 20 programme and interpereted according to the five percent significance level. According to the analysis results; scores achieved by Computer Assisted Teaching Method applied group have been higher than Traditional Teaching Method applied control group, and the difference between the two groups has been significant. According to this findings, the influence of Computer Assisted Teaching Method on the student' achievements has been much more than the influence of Traditional Teaching Method.
