Özet
Bu çalışma, öğrenme amaç yönelimli öğrenciler ile performans amaç yönelimli öğrencilerin akademik başarılarının farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığının belirlenmesini amaçlayan ilişkisel tarama türünde bir araştırmadır. Bunun yanısıra, bu çalışmada başarı amaç yönelim türüne göre OKS puanlarının farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı ve bazı sosyo-demografik özellikler açısından öğrencilerin başarı amaç yönelim türleri arasında fark olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda belirlenen sorulara yanıt bulabilmek amacıyla Ankara ilinin Çankaya ilçesindeki dört genel lise (sınavsız öğrenci alan) ve dört anadolu lisesi (OKS sınavı ile öğrenci alan) olmak üzere toplam sekiz okul araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında toplam 758 öğrenciye Başarı Amaç Yönelim Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular öğrencilerin akademik başarılarının başarı amaç yönelim türüne göre farklılaştığını ve“öğrenme amaç yönelimli”öğrencilerin akademik başarılarının daha yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir. Bunun yanısıra öğrencilerin amaç yönelim türüne göre OKS puanlarının farklılaştığı ve Öğrenme Amaç Yönelimli öğrencilerin OKS puanlarının, Performans Amaç Yönelimli öğrencilerin OKS puanlarından daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur.

This study is a relational scan type research which aims to determine whether the academic achievement of mastery goal oriented students and performance goal oriented students differentiate. Moreover, whether the scores of OKS differentiate with respect to the type of achievement goal orientation and the achievement goal orientation types of the students differentiate with respect to some socio-demographic characteristics is investigated in this work. In order to get answers for the questions determined by the aim of the research, eight high schools in total, four of which are public high schools (accepting students without examination) and four of which are anatolia high schools (accepting students with examination), have been incorporated into the research. The achievement goal orientation measure has been applied to the total of 758 students within the research. The results of the research indicate that the academic achievements of the students differentiate with respect to type of achievement goal orientation and the academic achievements of the learning ahievement goal oriented students are higher. In addition to this, OKS scores of students differentiate with respect to the achievement goal orientation types of the students and OKS scores of mastery oriented students are higher than OKS scores performance oriented students.
