Özet
Bu araştırma, flüt öğretiminde makamsal dizilere göre bestelenmiş etütlerin icraya yönelik etkilerini belirleyebilmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma, nitel ve nicel olmak üzere iki boyuttan oluşmaktadır. Buna göre bir yönüyle betimsel, diğer bir yönüyle de deneysel bir araştırma niteliği taşımaktadır. Araştırmada yer alan üç alt probleme cevap verebilmek amacıyla; betimsel boyutta öncelikle, Türkiye'de mesleki müzik eğitimi kapsamında flüt öğretimi uygulayan, 24 devlet üniversitesinin, 1 özel üniversitenin ve bir devlet kurumunun flüt öğretim elemanlarına yönelik olarak,“Çağdaş Türk Müziği Flüt Öğretiminin Değerlendirilmesi”konulu anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Flüt öğretim elemanlarına yönelik yapılan anket çalışmasında, Türkiye'de uygulanan flüt öğretim programları ile Çağdaş Türk Müziği flüt öğretiminin değerlendirilmesi istenmiştir. Flüt öğretim elemanlarının düşüncelerinden oluşan verilerin analizi ile frekans ve yüzde dağılımları, üçüncü bölümde tablolar ile gösterilerek açıklanmıştır. Araştırmanın diğer bir betimsel basamağı ise, deneysel çalışmada kullanılmak üzere hazırlanmış olan, makamsal dizilere göre bestelenmiş etütlerdir. Bu etütlerin oluşturulmasında öncelikle, deney eseri olarak belirlenen“Köçekçeler Orkestra Süiti”, araştırmacı tarafından flüte uyarlanmıştır. Uyarlanan eserin makamsal dizi ve ritim/usûl analizi yapılarak, eserin içerisinde makamsal dizi özelliği gösteren yapılar belirlenmiştir. Eserin icrasında karşılaşılabilecek zorluk derecelerinin belirlenebilmesi için deney eseri, Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı flüt eğiticisi tarafından, flüt eğitimi alan 10 farklı öğrenciye çaldırılmış ve öğrencilerin genel olarak teknik problemlerle karşılaştıkları bölümler tespit edilmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra araştırmacı tarafından deney grubu öğrencilerinin ön test sonucunda teknik zorluk yaşadıkları bölümler de belirlenmiş ve diğer üniversitede eğitim gören öğrencilerle aynı teknik problemlerle karşılaşıldığı gözlemlenmiştir. Yapılan bu araştırmalar sonucunda, icraya yönelik yaşanan problemleri çözebilmek için eser içerisindeki makamsal dizi ve ritimleri/usûlleri kapsayacak şekilde etütler hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmanın deneysel boyutunda, tek gruplu ön test-son test deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada“Köçekçeler”isimli deney eseri için hazırlanan özgün çalışma etütlerinin, öğrencilerin çalma düzeylerine ve başarılarına olan etkilerini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Deneysel desenin uygulanabilmesi için, Atatürk Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Müzik Bilimleri Bölümü bireysel çalgı flüt eğitimini veren öğretim elemanı ile yapılan görüşme neticesinde, toplam 12 lisans 3. ve 4. sınıf flüt öğrencisinden, bireysel çalgı flüt dersi akademik başarıları birbirine yakın olan 7 öğrenci belirlenmiştir. Öncelikle deney eseri bir hafta önceden belirlenen deney grubuna verilmiş ve 1 hafta sonra ön test uygulaması yapılarak kameraya kayıt edilmiştir. Etütlere çalışılması safhasında, araştırmacı tarafından yapılan derslerle, makamsal dizilere göre bestelenmiş etütler çalıştırılmış ve kameraya kayıt edilmiştir. Son test uygulamasında ise eser, öğrenciler tarafından tekrar çalınarak kameraya kayıt edilmiştir. Eser, ön-test ve son-test sonuçlarının belirlenmesi için uzman heyetine gönderilerek heyet nezdinde değerlendirilmesinin yapılması sağlanmıştır. Üçüncü ve son alt probleme yönelik soruların cevaplanabilmesi için, örneklem grubunu oluşturan deney grubu öğrencilerine (n=7), ön test-son test uygulamasının ardından bir anket düzenlenmiş ve bu ankette öğrencilerin deney eserine ve makamsal dizilere göre bestelenmiş etütlere yönelik düşünceleri sorulmuştur. Öğrencilerin düşüncelerinden oluşan verilerin analizi ile frekans ve yüzde dağılımları, üçüncü bölümde tablolar ile gösterilerek açıklanmıştır. Araştırmanın son test uygulamasının sonuçları incelendiğinde; makamsal dizilere göre bestelenmiş etütlerin, ön test sonuçlarına göre, deney eserini (Köçekçeler) seslendirmede büyük oranda etkili olduğu ve örneklem grubunun başarı seviyelerinin yükselmesinde anlamlı bir fark yarattığı gözlemlenmiştir. Ayrıca; son test sonuçlarına göre, müzikal ve teknik boyutları içeren her bir sorunun değerlendirme puanlarında da ön test sonuçlarına göre, büyük oranda başarı sağlanmış ve hazırlanan etütlerin öğrencilerin eseri seslendirmelerinde anlamlı düzeyde fark yarattığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu veriler doğrultusunda makamsal dizilere göre bestelenmiş etütlerin, Çağdaş Türk Müziği eserlerinin seslendirilebilmesine olumlu anlamda katkı sağlayabileceği, daha sonra yapılacak olan akademik çalışmalarda da kullanılabileceği ve Çağdaş Türk Müziği flüt öğretiminde de kaynak olarak yararlanılabileceği düşünülebilir.

This study has been conducted to determine the effect on performance of the etudes composed according to the scales of mode in flute teaching. The study is composed of two dimensions, one descriptive and the other experimental. Accordingly, it is a qualitative study on one hand and quantitative on the other. To give answers to three sub-problems in the study, a questionnaire entitled“Assessment of Flute Teaching in Contemporary Turkish Music”has been conducted on flute scholars of 24 state universities, 1 private university and a public institution teaching how to play the flute within the context of professional music teaching in Turkey on the descriptive dimension. The questionnaire conducted on the flute scholars is concerned with the assessment of Contemporary Turkish Music flute teaching with the flute teaching programmes conducted in Turkey. The analysis and frequency and percentage distributions of the data consisting of the flute scholars' views are shown and explained in tables in the third chapter. Another descriptive stage of the study is the etudes composed according to the scales of mode, which are prepared to be used in the experimental study. In preparing these etudes, firstly“Köçekçeler Orchestra Suit”, determined as the work of experiment, has been adapted by the researcher to the flute. By analysing the scale of mode and rhythm/tempo of the adapted work, it has become possible to determine the structures that have the feature of scale of mode within the work. To determine the degrees of difficulty likely to be experienced in the performance of the work, 10 students learning to play the flute at the Department of Musical Education of 18 Mart University have been made to play the work of experiment by the flute's scholar, and the parts in which the students have generally faced technical problems have been determined. Besides, the researcher has determined the parts in which the students of the experimental group have faced technical difficulties as a result of the pre-test, and it has been observed that they have almost the same technical problems as the students at other universities. As a result of these studies, some etudes have been prepared in such a way as to cover the scales of mode and rhythms/tempos within the work in order to be able to solve the problems experienced in performance. One-group pretest-posttest experimental pattern has been used in the experimental dimension of the study. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of the original etudes prepared for the work of experiment entitled“Köçekçeler”on the students' levels and abilities of playing. For the experimental pattern to be applied, 7 of 12 third-year and fourth-year flute students have been selected that have almost the same level of academic achievement in playing the flute. This selection has been made as a result of the interview with the scholar who gives the training of individual instrument of the flute at the Department of Musical Sciences of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Ataturk University. Firstly, the work of experiment has been given to the experimental group determined one week earlier and the pre-test application has been made one week later and recorded with a camera. The researcher has given courses during the etudes and with them the etudes composed according to the scales of mode have been studied and recorded. In the post-test application, however, the work has been re-played by the students and recorded. The work has been sent to the specialized committee so that the pre-test and post-test results can be determined, and their assessment before a committee has been made. To answer the questions concerning the third and last sub-problem, the experimental group's students making up the sampling group (n=7) have been given a questionnaire following the application of pre-test and post-test, and they have been asked to express their views of the work of experiment and of the etudes composed according to the scales of mode. The analysis and frequency and percentage distributions of the data consisting of the students' views are given in tables in the third chapter and explained there. An examination of the results of the post-test application of the study has shown that the etudes composed according to the scales of mode have become considerably effective in voicing the work of experiment (Köçekçeler) and created a significant difference in raising the success levels of the sampling group. Moreover, according to the post-test results, a big rate of success has been achieved in the assessment scores of each problem containing the musical and technical dimensions when compared with the pre-test results. And it has been concluded that the etudes prepared have led to statistically significant difference in the students' voicing the work. Parallel to these data, the etudes composed according to the scales of mode could be thought to make a positive contribution to the voicing of the Contemporary Turkish Music works, and could be used in the further academic studies and could be used as a source in the flute teaching in Contemporary Turkish Music.
