Özet
Araştırmacı tarafından ortaokul seviyesinde proje tabanlı öğrenme uygulamalarında, yönetim ve takibi kolaylaştıran, proje yönetimi bilgi sistemi geliştirilmiştir. Bu araştırmada proje yönetimi bilgi sisteminin öğrenciler tarafından kullanılabilirliğinin ölçülerek betimlenmesi ve öğrencilerin derse karşı motivasyonlarına etkisinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma grubunu, Ankara ili Çankaya ilçesindeki bir özel ortaokulda öğrenim gören 7. sınıfların 2 şubesindeki 35 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Şubeler yansız olarak biri deney diğeri kontrol grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Uygulama Fen ve Teknoloji dersinde yapılmıştır. Bir durum çalışması olarak ele alınan araştırmada; geliştirilen proje yönetimi bilgi sisteminin öğrenciler tarafından kullanılabilirliğinin ölçülerek betimlenmesi için nitel, öğrencilerin derse karşı motivasyonlarına etkisini ölçmek için ise nicel yöntemler kullanılmıştır. Nitel veri toplama aracı olarak; haftalık yansıma formları ve görüşme formları, nicel veri toplama aracı olarak ise güdülenme ve öğrenme stratejileri ölçeği (öntest- sontest) kullanılmıştır. Deneysel işlem sürecinde deney grubunda proje tabanlı öğrenme uygulamalarında proje yönetimi bilgi sistemi kullanılırken kontrol grubunda kullanılmamıştır. Uygulama sırasında ve sonrasında deney grubundaki öğrencilerin görüşleri alınmıştır. Araştırmada tek grup öntest sontest yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler karışık desende tekrarlı ölçümler için ANOVA kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Haftalık yansıma formları ve görüşme formları ile toplanan verilerin çözümlenmesinde ise içerik analizi ve betimsel analiz birlikte kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada öğrenciler proje yönetimi bilgi sisteminin kullanımının sağladığı esneklik sayesinde, proje konularını ve alt hedefleri kendileri belirlemiş, gerektiğinde bu hedefleri yeniden düzenleyerek takip etmişlerdir. Böylece proje yönetimi bilgi sistemi, öğrencilerin yönetim becerilerinin gelişmesine, mesajlaşma, paylaşım ve izleme ekranı aracılığıyla da iletişim, işbirliği ve değerlendirme süreçlerine katkı sağlamıştır. Öğrenciler proje süreçlerine ilişkin; proje yönetimi bilgi sisteminin kullanımının sağladığı zaman ve mekân esnekliği sayesinde projelerin her yerde yapılabileceğini, grup projelerinin sorumluluk ve yardımlaşma duygusunu geliştirdiğini, ancak proje yönetimi bilgi sisteminin arayüzlerinin öğrenciler için daha cazip ve daha kullanışlı olacak şekilde geliştirilmesi gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir. Proje yönetimi bilgi sistemi, proje süreçlerinde öğrencilerin motivasyonlarına ve özyeterlik algılarının artmasına katkı sağlarken, derse karşı motivasyonlarının artmasına katkı sağlamamıştır.

A project management information system for project processes is developed by the researcher. This system makes easier to manage and track projects used in project based learning implementations at middle school grades. In this research, it is aimed to describe usability of project management information system by the students. In addition to this, the effect of the project management information system on students' motivation about the Science and Technology course is investigated. The study group consists of 7th grade students studying at a private middle school in Çankaya, Ankara. The study is carried out with 35 students from two different sections of the same grade level who take 7th grade Science and Technology course. The sections are randomly assigned as control and experimental group. The study conducted in the Science and Technology course. Designed as a case study, qualitative approaches are employed for assessment and description of usability of the developed project management information system by the students and quantitative methods are employed for measurement of the motivation of the students to the course. Reflective forms and interview forms are used as qualitative data collecting instruments. The Motivation and Learning Strategies Scale (pre-test, post-test) is used as a quantitative data collecting instrument. During the experimental phase, the project management information system is used with the experimental group in project based learning activities. In control group, the developed system is not used. During the implementation phase and after the implementation, the views of the students in experimental group are recorded. In this research one-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design is used. The collected data is examined by using repeated measures ANOVA analysis. The data collected from reflective forms and interview forms are analyzed by means of content and descriptive analysis techniques. In the research, the flexibility provided by the project management information system, students themselves set project topics and attainment sub-targets, whenever it is necessary they adjust and track these targets. In this way, the development of students' management skills is fostered. Additionally, messaging, sharing and monitoring screens of the system make several contributions to the communication, collaboration and assessment processes. About project processes the students mention that projects can be carried out anywhere as a result of the time and location flexibility provided by the project management information system, on the other hand they point out that the interfaces of the project management information system require enhancements towards being more interesting and easier to use. Since group projects contribute to students' senses of responsibility and cooperation, the project management information system should be flexible enough to carry out group and individual projects. Moreover students are required to be supported on time management skills. The project management information system contribute to the increase in students' motivations and sense of self efficacy however the system does not add any increase on the students' motivation to the courses.
