Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı,“Ortaokul Fen Bilimleri Dersi 6. Sınıf Bitki ve Hayvanlarda Üreme, Büyüme ve Gelişme konusunda kullanılan scamper tekniğinin akademik başarıya etkisini”araştırmaktır. Araştırmada yarı deneysel yöntem kullanılmış olup öğrencilere başarı testi ve yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat uygulanmıştır. Çalışma 2015-2016 eğitim-öğretim yılında Ağrı ilindeki Murat Kız Yatılı Bölge Ortaokulunda 6. Sınıf öğrencilerinden oluşan 70 öğrenci üzerinde yapılmıştır. 6.sınıf Fen Bilimleri dersinin öğretim programı doğrultusunda dersin işlendiği sınıf kontrol grubu, öğretim programıyla birlikte scamper tekniğinin kullanıldığı sınıf deney grubunu oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak ön test-son test yaklaşımıyla Bitki ve Hayvanlarda Üreme, Büyüme ve Gelişme Başarı Testi (BHÜBGBT) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen 5 tane yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat sorusu 8 öğrenciye BHÜBG konusunda öğrencilerin sorunlarını, zorlandıkları noktalar ve duygularını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular; deney ve kontrol gruplarının son test puanları arasında 0.000 düzeyinde anlamlı farklılık olduğunu ve deney grubundaki çocukların puanlarında gözlenen artış scamper tekniğinin öğrencinin başarısını arttırdığı söylenebilir.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the scamper technique used in reproduction and growth in plants and animals in sixth grade science class. Semi-experimental method was used in the research and achievement test and semi-structured interview were applied to the students. The study was carried out on 70 students who were 6th grade students in Middle School of Murat Girls Boarding District in Ağrı in the academic year of 2015-2016. The classroom control group in which the course is taught in the direction of the curriculum of the 6th grade Science course forms the classroom experiment group in which the scamper technique is used together with the curriculum. Plant and Animal Reproduction, Growth and Development Success Test was used as a data collection tool. The 5 semi-structured interview questions developed by the researcher were conducted to 8 students in PARGD order to determine the problems, difficulties and feelings of the students. Findings obtained as a result of the research; It can be said that there is a significant difference of 0.000 between the final test scores of the experimental and control groups and that the increase observed in the scores of the children in the experimental group has increased the success of the student in the scamper technique.
