Özet

Çalışmamız Multipl Skleroz (MS) hastalarında denge ile ''core'' stabilite ve gövde pozisyon duyusu arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek amacıyla planlandı. Çalışmaya EDSS skoru 1-4 arasında olan 45 MS hastası ve benzer yaş ve cinsiyette 29 sağlıklı olgu dahil edildi. Denge; Biodex-BioSway™ Portatif Denge Sistemi ile,''core'' endurans; gövde fleksiyon testi, modifiye Biering-Sorensen“ testi, ”prone bridge" testi, sağ ve sol lateral köprü testi ile, ''core'' gücü; ''sit-ups'' testi ve modifiye ''push-ups'' testi ile, gövde pozisyon duyusu; Lumbosakral (LS) ve Torakosakral (TS) bölge repozisyon testleri ile değerlendirildi. Biodex-BioSway™ portatif denge sistemi ile yapılan değerlendirmede denge postüral stabilite (PS) testi, stabilite limiti (LOS) testi ve modifiye sensori organizasyon testleri (MSOT) ile analiz edildi. Çalışmanın sonucunda MS'li hastaların kontrol grubuna göre denge, ''core'' endurans, ''core'' güç ve gövde pozisyon duyularının azalmış olduğu görüldü (p0.05). This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between ''core'' stability and trunk position sense with balance in patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The study included 45 MS patients with EDSS score between 1-4 and 29 healthy volunteers of similar age and gender. Balance; with Biodex - BioSway™ Portable Balance System, ''core'' endurance; with trunk flexion test, modified ''Biering-Sorensen'' test, ''prone bridge'' test and right and left lateral bridge test, ''core'' power; with ''sit-ups'' test and modified ''push-ups'' test, trunk position sense; with Lumbosacral (LS) and Thoracosacral (TS) region reposition tests were evaluated. In the balance assessment made by Biodex-BioSway™ device individuals postural stability (PS), limits of stability (LOS) and modified sensory organized tests (MSOT) results examined. As a result of the study, it was seen that the balance, ''core'' endurance, ''core'' power and trunk position sense of MS patients were decreased according to the control group (p0.05).
