Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, eğitimde estetiğin etkilerini, önemini belirlemek ve uygulamalarının gerekliliğini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda; estetiğin tanımı ve kapsamı, güzel kavramı, estetik ve sanat, estetik duygu gelişimi, eğitimde estetik bakış açısının kazandırılmasının önemi, okul mekânlarının estetiği, Batı ve Doğu filozoflarının estetik ve eğitim ile ilgili görüş ve çalışmaları ve sanat merkezli eğitim konuları araştırılmıştır. Çalışmanın giriş bölümünde,“Estetik”in kapsamı üzerinde durulmuştur. Birinci bölümde, eğitim, eğitim ve kültür, eğitimin tarihi gelişimi ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde estetiğin tanımı, estetik ile ilgili terimler, güzel, Batı dünyasında ve Türk düşünce tarihinde estetik algısı, sanat, İslam estetiği ve sanatı ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ise, estetik eğitim ve sanat merkezli eğitim ele alınmıştır. Araştırma teorik olarak çalışıldığı için“Estetik”,“Sanat ve Estetik”,“Sanat ve Eğitim”,“Estetik ve Eğitim”gibi konu başlıklarında kitaplar, akademik yayınlar; yüksek lisans ve doktora tezleri, makaleler, yabancı kaynaklı tez ve makalelerden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada toplanan veriler, literatür taramasıyla elde edilen yerli ve yabancı kaynaklı veriler ile sınırlı kalmıştır. Ayrıca elde edilen estetik ile ilgili çalışmalarda Batı kültürü hâkimiyetinin söz konusu olduğu görülmüştür. Çocuklar kendi estetik potansiyellerini devam ettirmek için yeterince desteklenmedikleri zaman, günlük yaşamlarına nüfuz eden estetik tecrübelerini kaybetmektedirler. Bireyin yaptığı işin ahlakça zorunluluğunun bilincinde olması ve bunu kendinde duyması yeterli olmayıp, aynı zamanda yapılan o işin güzelliğinin ya da yüceliğinin de bilincinde olması gereklidir. Vatanseverlik veya topluma bağlılık gibi duygular, siyasal bir düşünce olmaktan çıkıp, aynı zamanda estetik bir coşku olduğu zaman, etkili bir kuvvet haline gelebilmektedir. Eğitimde estetiği uygulayarak, eğitim uygulamalarına yeni bakış açıları kazandırılabilir. Bireyin eğitim sürecinde, davranış duyarlılığı, güzel algısı ve etkinliklere eklenen sanat ve estetik bakış açısı ile hayatının tüm alanına, düşüncelerine ve kişiliğine de yansıyacak estetik duyarlık kazandırılmış olacaktır.

The purpose of this research is to determine the effects and importance of aesthetics in education and the necessity of its applications. In accordance with this purpose; the definition and scope of aesthetic, the concept of beauty, the aesthetic and art, the development of aesthetic feeling, the importance of earning the aesthetic perspective, the aesthetic of school locations, East and West philosophers opinions and their work about aesthetic and education, art centered education have researched. This thesis that called Aesthetic Education has introduction, three chapter and final conclusion. The introduction has the scope of the aesthetic and the contents of the chapters. The first chapter has the education, the education and culture and developing of education by history. The second chapter has the definition of the aesthetic, terms abaout aesthetic, the beauty, the perception of aesthetic in the West world and Turkish history, the art, Islamic aesthetic and art. Third chapter has aesthetic education and art centered education. Since the research is theoretically studied, it benefited by books, academic publication, Master's and PhD theses, articles at subjects like“Aesthetic”,“Art and Aesthetic”,“Art and Education”,“Aesthetic and Education”. The collected data in the research is limited by scanning literature in domestic and foreign sources. Also the West culture has dominance on obtained work. When children are not adequately supported to maintain their aesthetic potential, they lose their aesthetic experience that permeates their daily lives. It is necessary for the work of the individual to be conscious of the moral imperative and not to be able to feel it in himself, but also to be aware of the beauty or glory of the work at the same time. Attitudes like patriotism, or loyalty to society, can be an effective force when it is not a political thought and at the same time an aesthetic enthusiasm. By applying aesthetics in education, new perspectives on education methods can be gained. During the individual educating process, behavioral sensitivity, the perception of beauty and with the added art and aesthetic point of view; aesthetic sensibility will be gained that will be reflected in the whole area of life, thoughts and personality.
