Özet
Stres günümüz iş dünyasının ve günlük hayatın en önemli sorunlarından bir tanesi haline gelmiştir. Son yıllarda ise stresin birçok faktöre etkisinin olduğu kabul edilmektedir. Bu faktörlerden olan performans ve tükenmişlik de stresten oldukça etkilenmektedir ve bu nedenle stresin performans ve tükenmişlik üzerindeki etkisini bilmek önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada stres, performans ve tükenmişlik kavramlarının açıklanmasının ardından, stres-performans ve stres-tükenmişlik ilişkisi hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Çalışmanın araştırma bölümünde ise stresin performans ve tükenmişlik üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Bilişim sektöründe çalışan kişilerin oluşturdu 176 adet katılımcı üzerinde anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Sonuçlar literatüre uygun bir şekilde analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda stresin kısmen performans ve tükenmişlik üzerinde etkisi olduğu anlaşılmıştır.

Stress has rapidly become one of the most important problems throughout the business world and in daily life where, in recent years, it has come to be accepted that stress affects many factors. Of these, performance and burnout are strongly impacted, and, for this reason, it is paramount to understand the effect of stress on them. In this study, the concepts of stress, performance, and burnout were examined before analysis of the stress-performance and stress-burnout relationships was given. In the research section, the effects of stress on performance and burnout were investigated, where the results of surveys completed by 176 participants working in the information technologies sector were analyzed according to the literature. As a result of this research, it is understood that stress has a partial effect on performance and burnout.
