Özet

ABSTRACT by Nartgün, Şenay Sezgin M.S., Department of Educational Sciences Supervisor: Yrd. Doç. Dr. M. Durdu Karslı July, 1996 The purpose of this study was to determine the ideas of university administrators on the degree of applicability of strategic planning in universities with respect to the system of Turkish Higher Education, its structure and actual resource. Data obtained by the questionnaire were analyzed through the descriptive and inferential statistics, t-test, one way analysis of variance and tukey test by the SPSS for Windows statistical package program. The degree of applicability of strategic planning was investigated in three dimensions. The results indicated that the elements of planning as the first components of strategic planning was applied at the level of“always”. Defining target as the second dimension was applied at the level of“frequently”, and structure and system as the third dimension at the level of“frequently and rarely”.belirleme“ Sıklıkla”düzeyinde, üniversitenin sistem ve yapısına bağlı olma şeklindeki üçüncü boyut ise“ Sıklıkla ve Nadiren”düzeyinde belirlenmiştir.

ÖZET YUKSEKÖGRETİM'DE STRATEJİK PLANLAMANIN UYGULANABİLİRLİ?İ Nartgün, Şerıay Sezgin Yüksek Lisans Eğitim Bilimleri Bölümü Tez Danışmanı Yard. Doç. Dr. M. Durdu Karslı Temmuz 1996 Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye'nin Yükseköğretim kurumlarının sistem, yapı ve sahip olduğu kaynaklar bakımından stratejik planlamanın uygulanabilirliğine ilişkin üniversite yöneticilerinin görüş ve düşüncelerinin belirlenmesidir. Anket yoluyla elde edilen veriler frekans, yüzde, t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi ve tukey testi yöntemleriyle SPSS (Sosyal Bilimler İçin İstatistik Paket Programı) kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Yükseköğretimde stratejik planlamanın ne derece uygulandığı üç ?boyutta ele alınmıştır. Birinci boyut olan stratejik planlamanın öğeleri“Her zaman”düzeyinde uygulandığı görülmüştür.
