Dr. Vahit İMAMO?LU Çalışmamızın konusu Fethiye ve yöresinde turizmin dini yaşantıya olan etkilerini belirlemektir. Bu çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde konumuzun varsayımları, amaçları ve araştırmada kullandığımız metodlardan bahsedilmektedir. Bununla beraber yörenin tarihi gelişimi ile ilgili bilgiler de burada verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde turizmin yörenin gelenek ve göreneklerine yaptığı olumlu ve olumsuz etkileri incelenmiştir. İslâmın turizme bakışı yine bu bölüm de ele alışmıştır, ikinci bölümde yöre halkının dini ve ahlakî yapısı ortaya konulmuştur. Aynı zamanda turizmin bölgenin fiziki yapılanmasındaki etkilerinin yanısıra yöre halkının dini ahlakî ve dünyevi yapısına yaptığı etkilerde incelenmiştir. Sonuçta turizmin yöre halkının dinî inanç, tutum ve davranışlarına ne derece etki edip etmeği bu çalışmada gösterilmiştir.

Dr. Vahit İMAMO?LU The subject of the dissertation is to determine the effects of tourism in fethiye on religious life. The dissertation consists of three chapters. In the introductory chapter the hypothesis and the aim of the study and the method used in the dissertation are exposed. Besides, this chapter expounds the historical development of the region. In the Chapter 1, the positive and negative effects of tourism on the local traditions and the islamic view to the fact of tourism are examined. In the chapter II, the religious and the moral structures of the people in the region are considered. Not only the effects of tourism on the pysical construction of the region but also the effects of tourism on the religious, moral a secular structures of people in the region are onalyaed. Consequently, the efftects of tourism on the religious believes attitudes and deeds of the people have been indicated in this work
