oz JACQUES DERRIDA VE SORU Tülin Aksin Doktora, Felsefe Bölümü Tez Yöneticisi: Prof.Dr. Akın Ergüden Ortak Tez Yöneticisi: Prof.Dr. Ahmet İnam Aralık 1996, 301 sayfa Bu tez, Derrida düşüncesinin temel teması differance'ı betimlemek üzere yazılmıştır. Bu yeni anlayış Derrida'nm,“onto-theology”veya metafiziğin deconstruction'u için örneksel bulduğu geleneksel gösterge kavramfnm deconstruction'u olarak üretilmiştir. Dolayısıyla bu tez, differance, trace, veya Gramme temasıyla yeni bir gerçeklik veya uyum ve zaman, yeni bir dil anlayışı; ve dolayısıyla yeni bir bilim kavramı, yani Grammatology (geleneksel akıl, mantık biçimlerini de kavramaktadır), veya diğer bir söyleyişle, yeni bir okuma/yazma havramı betimlemek çabasındadır. Böylelikle bu anlayış her türlü“olay”(soru/cevap) karşısında, veya daha doğru, genel olarak“diğeri”ile ilişkide, yeni bir tutum (“gesture”) betimlemektedir.VI Kısaca, differance'm ayrım (difference) kavramını sınır/cephe, ve ayrımlar arasındaki her zaman zaten“görülmez”ve“işitilmez”(bilinemez, anlanamaz) ayrım olarak, yani, iz (trace) denen şeyde yazılı bulunan bir iç ve dış arasındaki geçit (passage) olarak betimlediği söylenebilir. Böylelikle, bir göndermeler yapısı içinde, her zaman zaten yazılı bir iz olarak bulunan, dolayısı ile de, az veya çok okunabilir olan bu“geçit”, bilinç'te ve bilinç-dışV nda bütün farklılıklar ve karşıtlıklar sisteminin doğurgan bir ortak zemin'i (common ground) olarak görülmektedir. Bundan ötürü de, bu iz, sistematik ayrımlar oyununun (veya bir differance'm) hem başlangıca, hem de son'u olarak, yani, yazının (bulunanın) aynı zamanda hem olanak'ı veya kaynağı, hem de öiüm'ü olarak algılanabilmektedir.

Ill ABSTRACT JACQUES DERRIDA AND THE QUESTION Aksin, Tülin Ph.D., Department of Philosophy Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Akın Ergüden Co-Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Ahmet İnam December 1996, 301 pages This thesis attempts to describe the major theme of Jacques Derrida's thought, differance, produced by Derrida's deconstruction of the traditional concept of the sign, which Derrida finds exemplary for the deconstruction it permits of“onto-theology or metaphysics. Hence this thesis tries to describe by this theme of differance, trace or the gramme a new notion of truth, i.e., of space and time, a new concept of language and, accordingly, a new concept of science, which Derrida names grammatology (also comprehending logic proper); that is to say a new concept of reading and writing. Therefore, it describes a new gesture before ”event“, or rather, in the relationship with the ”other“, in general.IV In short, we could say that difference describes difference, as the limit (or frontier*) and as the always already ”invisible“ and ”unheard“ difference between differences, i.e., the passage between an inside and outside inscribed in the trace. Thus, this ”passage“, which is always already a trace inscribed within a structure of reference, hence more or less legible, appears as the originary common ground (”arche- writing“, ”arche-trace“) that produces all the differences and oppositions in the conscious and the non-conscious of the trace. Hence this trace appears at the beginning or at the end of the systematic play of differences (that is to say, a differance), as both the resource (or possibility) and death of writing (or ”the presence of the present").
