Özet

Bu araştırmada, biçimlendirmeye yönelik değerlendirme ve değer biçmeye yönelik değerlendirme türleri birlikte ele alınarak bir ders süresi boyunca; ödev, proje, kısa sınav ve sınav gibi farklı değerlendirme yöntemlerinin tek bir ortamdan sunulması ve her öğrenciye bireysel dönüt sağlanabilmesi amacıyla, alan yazındaki öneriler dikkate alınarak araştırmacı tarafından bir e-değerlendirme sistemi geliştirilmiş ve uzman görüşleri doğrultusunda son şeklini almıştır. Araştırma kapsamında geliştirilen zenginleştirilmiş e-değerlendirme sisteminin ders başarısı ve öğrenci memnuniyetine etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmada Açımlayıcı Sıralı Karma Yöntem kullanılmıştır. Nicel aşamada, son-test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılarak deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin ders başarıları karşılaştırılmıştır. Ayrıca deney grubunun e-değerlendirme sistemine yönelik memnuniyet düzeyi araştırılmıştır. Nitel aşamada ise deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin dahil olduğu değerlendirme sürecine yönelik görüşleri Betimsel Analiz kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu; Gazi Üniversitesi, Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi, Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi Bölümünde okuyan Proje Yönetimi ve Uygulaması-I dersini alan 29 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Uygulama 2017-2018 güz döneminde Ekim ve Aralık ayı dahil olmak üzere üç ay boyunca gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama araçları olarak deney ve kontrol grubunun ders başarılarının analiz edilmesi için ödev, proje, kısa sınav ve sınav puanları dikkate alınmıştır. Deney grubunun sisteme yönelik memnuniyet düzeyinin belirlenmesi için Sistem Kullanılabilirlik Ölçeği'nden, kontrol ve deney grubunun dahil olduğu değerlendirme sürecine ilişkin görüşlerini elde etmek için ise açık uçlu sorulardan oluşturulmuş görüş formlarından yararlanılmıştır. Nicel verilerin analizinde SPSS paket programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada kontrol ve deney grubu öğrencilerinin ders başarıları arasındaki farklılığı analiz etmek amacıyla ANCOVA testi uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca deney grubunun sisteme yönelik memnuniyet düzeyi hesaplanmıştır. Nitel aşamada ise öğrenci görüşlerini analiz etmek için MAXQDA programından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin ders başarıları arasında anlamlı bir fark olmadığı görülmüştür. Deney grubunun sisteme ilişkin memnuniyet düzeyinin yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Deney ve kontrol grubunun sürece yönelik görüşlerinin ise olumlu olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Her iki grupta yer alan öğrencilerin uygulama sürecinden memnun kaldıkları görülmüştür. Öğrenciler ve öğretim elemanı için sınıfta gerçekleştirilen etkinlikleri içeren bütüncül bir e-değerlendirme sisteminin, sınıf ortamında gerçekleşen değerlendirmeye göre daha yararlı ve pratik olduğu; öğretim elemanının bu süreçlerde rolünün farklılaştığı anlaşılmıştır. Bu sonuçlar ışığında tasarlanacak e-değerlendirme sisteminin, uygulama süresinin daha uzun tutulabileceği ve birden fazla dersi temel alabileceği önerileri getirilmiştir.

In this study, an e-assessment system was developed by the researcher taking the suggestions into consideration in literature and finalized within the scope of expert opinions with the aim of several assessment methods including homework, project, quiz and exam on the single media and enabling individual feedback for every student in one course period by considering the formative and summative asessment types together.The effect of the enriched e-assessment system developed in the research on the success of the course and the student satisfaction was investigated. Explanatory Sequential Mixed Method was used in the research. In the quantitative section, the course achievements of the control group and experiment group students were compared by using post-test control group quasi-experimental design. In addition, the satisfaction level of the experimental group for e-assessment system was examined. In the qualitative phase, the opinions of the experiment and control group students for the assessment process that they were included were received by using Descriptive Analysis. The study group consisted of 29 students studying in the Computer Education and Instructional Technologies Department in the Faculty of Gazi Education in Gazi University taking the course of Project Management and Application-I. The application was conducted for three months including October and December in 2017-2018 fall term. The scores of homework, project, quizzes and exam were considered as the data collection tools in order to analyze course achievements of experiment and control groups. System Usability Scale was used in order to determine the satisfaction level of experiment group in terms of the system and the opinion forms having open-ended questions was used in order to receive the opinions regarding assessment process where control and experiment groups were included. For the analysis of the quantitative data, the SPSS package program was used. In order to analyze the difference between the course achievements of the students of experiment and control group, the ANCOVA test was applied. Moreover, the satisfaction level of the experiment group for the system was calculated. In the qualitative phase, MAXQDA program was used to analyze the opinions of the students. As the result of the research, no significant difference between the course achievements of the students of experiment and control groups was found. It was noted that the satisfaction level of the experiment group was high. In addition, it was stated that the opinions of the experiment and control groups towards the process were positive. It was seen that the students in both groups were satisfied with the application. It was found that a holistic e-assessment system including in class activities was more useful compared to the assessments conducted in class for instructors and students; and the role of the instructors in the process was differentiated. In the light of these results, it was recommended that the e- assessment system to be designed could have longer implementation and could be based on more than one course.
