Özet
Saksafon; caz, klasik ve popüler müzik türlerinde önemli bir çalgıdır. Türkiye'de saksafon eğitimi yaygın olmamakla birlikte mesleki müzik eğitimi veren kurumlarda saksafon eğitimi diğer çalgılara göre daha yenidir. Mesleki müzik eğitimi veren kurumlarda saksafon eğitimine yönelik öğretim elemanı ve öğrenci görüşlerinin saksafon eğitimine katkı sağlaması, saksafon eğitim durumunu ortaya koyması, müzik eğitimcilerine ve öğrencilerine rehber olması açısından önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu araştırmada betimsel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak Ankara ilinde mesleki müzik eğitimi veren kurumlarda saksafon eğitimine yöneliköğretim elemanı ve öğrencigörüşlerini almak amacıyla yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu uygulanmıştır. Görüşme formunda, saksafon eğitimi veren kurumlarda görev yapan 2 öğretim elemanına 10 soru, bu kurumlarda saksafon eğitimi alan 9 öğrenciye 8 soru olmak üzere toplam 18 açık uçlu soru sorulmuştur. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda Ankara ilinde saksafon eğitiminin ilgili kurumlarda lisans seviyesinde başladığı, öğrencilerin lisans seviyesinde saksafon eğitimine 18-25 yaş aralığında başladığı, alto ve tenor saksafon eğitimleri aldıkları, klasik, caz, funk ve blues müzik türleri üzerinden saksafon eğitimi aldıkları, kullanılan metot ve tekniklerin yeterli olduğu, saksafon çalışma alanlarının yeterli olduğu, saksafon eğitimi için gerekli ders-araç gereçlerinin, saksafon eğitimi veren kurum tarafından karşılanmadığı, saksafon alanında Türkiye'deki iş olanaklarının öğretim elemanı ve öğrenci görüşleri çerçevesinde yeterli olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Saxophone is a significant instrument in music genres such as jazz, classical and pop. Besides saxophone education in not prevalent in Turkey, it is more recent than the education of other instruments in institutions that have professional music education. At the institutions that have professional saxophone education, it is thought that the opinions of students and instructors about saxophone education are significant in terms of contributions to the saxophone education, revealing the situation about the saxophone education and leading music educators and their students in institutions that have professional saxophone education. In this study, semi-structured interview tecnique has been applied by using descriptive research methods for taking opinions of the instructors and students about saxophone education in institutions that have professional saxophone education in Ankara. In the interview form, it has been asked 18 open ending semi-structured questions in total, 10 questions have been applied to 2 instructors working in institutions that have professional saxophone education and 8 questions have been applied to 9 saxophone students. In line with the findings of the study, it has been concluded that saxophone educations begins at the Bachelor's degree at the concerning institutions in Ankara; the students begin saxophone education at the Bachelor's degree between the ages 18-25, the students are educated in the field of alto saxophone, tenor saxophone along with music genres such as classical, jazz, funk and blues, the methods of saxophone and the using technics are adequate, the study rooms are sufficient, employment opportunities are sufficient in the field of saxophone according to the instructors and their students, however; the necessary materials are not supplied by the institutions in the area of job opportunutieson saxophone instructor and student opinion in Turkey it has reached a sufficient framework that results.
