Özet
Doğrudan yabancı sermaye yatırımları ülkelerin büyümesi açısından önemli bir faktördür. Bu çalışmada politik risk ve mülkiyet hakların FDI üzerindeki etkisi, bazı gelişmekte olan 53 ülke için panel var metodunu kullanarak, 1995-2013 yılları arası araştırılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, mülkiyet haklarının (Proright) FDI üzerinde etkisi olumlu yöndedir. Yani mülkiyet haklarındaki pozitif bir şok, yabancı yatırımlar üzerinde beş döneme kadar pozitif bir etki meydana getirebilir. Politik riskin azalmasının (inrisk), FDI üzerindeki etkisi beklendiği gibi olumlu yöndedir. Yani bir birim politik risk azalması, bir ülkede iki dönemden yedi döneme kadar yabancı yatırımların cezbinde pozitif etki meydana getirebilmektedir. Yani ev sahibi ülkelerde güvenli koşulların sağlanması, yabancı yatırımların cezbinde uzun dönem etki gösterebilmektedir. Sonuç olarak, gelişmekte olan ülkelerde mülkiyet haklarına pozitif bir şok etkisi veya politik risk azalmasının uzun dönemde FDI üzerindeki etkisi, GDP ve Ticari dışa açıklıktan daha çok FDI'yi etkilemektedir.

Given that foreign direct investment is one of the important factors in economic growth of countries, this study investigates the impact of property rights and political risk on foreign direct investment using panel data technique in the form of P- VAR for 53 selected countries over the period of 1995-2013. The results indicate that due to a positive shock in the laws of developing countries, the attraction of foreign direct investment may increase; therefore, the positive reaction of the FDI to the positive shock of salary ownership indicates that the existence of laws based on increasing property rights in host countries is up to 5 years may lead to an increase in foreign investment in those countries. Moreover, the FDI's response to shocks caused by political risk reduction (inrisk) is in line with theoretical expectations and the results of the estimation of photo functions of the immediate action indicate that due to a positive shock in the political situation of the sample, the attraction of foreign direct investment strongly reacts positively. The positive reaction of the FDI to political risk shocks from the second to the seventh year has slowed down with a steep decline, indicating that the consequences of the existence of safe conditions in the host countries could lead to a longer foreign investment in those countries. Therefore, the study concludes that the impact of positive shocks in political risk and property rights in developing countries is far greater than the impact of the shocks of economic variables on GDP growth and the degree of openness of merchandise on attracting foreign investment.
