Özet
“Türkiye'nin Seçilmiş Bazı Sektörlerinde İhracat Performansını Belirleyen Faktörler”başlıklı bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye'nin ihracat performansını belirleyen faktörlerin özellikle Avrupa Birliği ülkelerine yapılan ihracatın seçilmiş bazı sektörlerde değerlendirilmesi olup söz konusu analizin geçtiğimiz on yıl için Türkiye'nin ihracat performansı açısından irdelenmesidir. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde, 1980'den günümüze Türkiye'nin ihracat stratejilerine değinilmiş olup hem tüm ihracat rakamları hem de Avrupa Birliği özelinde ihracat rakamları değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümüne gelindiğinde ise birinci bölümdeki betimsel açıklamaları dikkate alarak Türkiye'nin Avrupa Birliği Ülkeleri'ne ihracat performansını belirleyen faktörler beyaz eşya ve hazır giyim sektöründe incelenmiş olup Türkiye'nin ihracatının geçmiş dönemlerinden bugüne söz konusu faktörlerin değişimi değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın sonunda özellikle son 10 yılda seçilen sektörlerde Türkiye'nin ihracat performansını etkileyen faktörlerin bir değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Bu analizi yaparken hazır giyim ve beyaz eşya sektörünün geçmiş dönem verileri, bu sektörlere ilişkin hazırlanan raporlar ve Avrupa Birliği üye ülkelerin de ithalata ilişkin istatistikleri gözden geçirilmiştir.

The purpose of this study titled“Determining Factors of Export Performance of Turkey in Selected Sectors”is evaluating the factors that determine the performance of Turkey's total exports, in particular exports to European Union countries, in certain sectors and examining the analysis in terms of export performance of Turkey over the last decade. In the first part, from 1980 to present, the incentives and possible obstacles that support export are discussed and their effects on trade with the European Union are evaluated. By the second part of the study the factors determining the performance of Turkey's exports to the European Union Countries, taking into account empirical descriptions are examined in the first section of white goods and apparel industries and the change in the factors affecting Turkish exports from past to present is evaluated. In the final section of the study, the evaluations made in terms of both the country group and selected sectors are discussed and the foreign trade of our country, which is currently in the process of becoming a member of the European Union, is analyzed in selected sectors. While conducting this analysis, the historical data of the ready-made garment and white goods sector, the reports prepared for these sectors and the statistics on imports of the European Union member countries are reviewed.
