Özet
Ses üretimi, keman icra sanatının öncelikli konularından biridir. Kemanda ses üretimini sağlayan birincil araç ise yaydır. Bu tezde, kemanda yay ile ses üretimi konusu, bilimsel olarak farklı yönleriyle ele alınmıştır. Bu çalışmanın öncelikli amacı kemanda yay ile ses üretimi konusunda bilimsel verilere dayanan bir farkındalık yaratmaktır. Bu bağlamda ilk olarak, sesin oluşumunda meydana gelen fiziksel süreçlerden ve bu süreçlerde adı geçen temel akustik kavramlardan bahsedilerek konu ile ilgili bir alt yapı oluşturulmak istenmiştir. İkinci olarak, kemanda ses üretimi sürecinde meydana gelen fiziksel olgulara değinilmiştir. Ayrıca, ses üretimi süreci yay ekseninde ele alınarak yay materyallerinin sese olan etkisinden bahsedilmiştir. Bunu takiben, ses üretimi sürecinde etkin rolü olan önemli sağ el teknik unsurları incelenerek, kemanda yay ile ses üretimi süreci icra yönünden ele alınmıştır. Bu bölümün sonunda ise önemli sağ el teknik unsurlarından ses noktası ve yay eğiminin ses şiddetini nasıl etkilediği analiz edilmiş, elde edilen veriler Tek Yönlü Anova Varyans Analizi ile istatistiki olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Tezin son bölümünde ise adı geçen sağ el teknik unsurlarını geliştirmek üzere, bir dizi egzersiz derlenmiştir.

The sound production is one of the most priority issues of the violin playing, and the bow is the main element of the sound production during a violin performance. In this thesis, violin sound production with bow is elaborated using different scientific aspects. The main aim of this study is to create an awareness in the matter of violin sound production with bow, based on the scientific data. In this regard, first, the physical processes which occur in the sound formation and the acoustical terms of these physical processes were mentioned in order to give an overview on the sound production. Second, the formation of physical phenomena in sound production was mentioned and the impacts of the bow materials on the sound were evaluated by discussing the sound production process in the axis of the bow. Next, the essential right-hand technical elements playing a significant role in the sound production process were examined. In addition, the issues of the violin sound production process with the bow were tackled in terms of performance. Furthermore, the impact of two essentials of right-hand technical elements; the sounding point and the bow tilting, on the loudness of sound was analyzed statistically using ANOVA analysis (Analysis of Variance). In the final part of the thesis, a series of exercises was compiled to develop right-hand technical elements which were previously mentioned.
