Özet

Türkiye'de bireysel emeklilik sistemine dahil olanların sayısı, sistemin 2001 senesinde uygulanmaya başladığı günden bu yana giderek artmaktadır. İnsanların geleceklerini maddi olarak güvence altına alma isteğinin artması, devletin sisteme dahil olanlara yönelik teşvikleri ve işverenlerin çalışanları namına sosyal hak olarak sisteme ilave katkı payı ödemeleri gibi nedenlerle bireysel emeklilik her geçen gün önemini artırmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, bireysel emeklilik sistemine dahil olanların sosyo-ekonomik durumlarını tespit etmek ve bu sosyo-ekonomik durumlarının sistemde yapmış oldukları tasarrufların miktarına ve sistemde kalış sürelerine olan etkilerini analiz etmektir. Bu amaçla İstanbul ili içerisinde bir alan araştırması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmaya göre, bireysel emeklilik sisteminde sisteme dahil olma durumunu, bireylerin gelir seviyesindeki artış, hanehalkı toplam gelirindeki artış, eşlerin çalışması gibi faktörlerin artırmadığı ancak sosyo-ekonomik seviyedeki artışların sisteme katılımı artırdığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Diğer taraftan sisteme dahil olanların, sosyo-ekonomik durumları, gelir seviyeleri, eşlerinin çalışması durumu, sistem içerisinde kaldıkları süre gibi faktörler artıkça, katılımcıların sistem içerisinde ödedikleri prim miktarının arttığı sonuca varılmıştır.

The number of those involved in the private pension system in Turkey has been increasing since the day it started to be implemented in 2001. Private pension is increasing day by day due to the increase in the desire of people to secure their future financially, the incentives of the state for the inclusion of the system and the employer's payment of additional contribution to the system as a social right for the employees. The aim of this study is to determine the socio-economic status of individuals included in the private pension system and to analyze the effects of this socio-economic situation on the amount of savings they have made in the system and their length of stay in the system. For this purpose, a field study was conducted in Istanbul. According to the research, it was concluded that factors such as increase in the income level of individuals, increase in total income of households, employment of spouses did not increase the inclusion status in the private pension system, but increases in socio-economic level increased participation in the system. On the other hand, as the factors such as socio-economic status, income levels, working status of spouses and the duration of stay in the system increased, the amount of premiums paid by the participants increased in the system.
