SUMMERY One of the principle objectives of the European Community is to integrate the economies of the twelve Member States, and thereby create an economic area in which millions citizens can share in the constant improvement in Irving conditions called for by the authors of the Community Treaties. The European internal Market was became a reality on 1 January 1993. From that date on, there should be no national restrictions on movemet of persons, services, goods and capital in the Community of Twelve. The grafting together of the national markets will give a new impetus to the economy, boosting the prosperity and living standarts of the Community ' s citizens in a way which the individual natioal markets could not have done. The internal market policy has in fact already stimulated company investment activities and may have contributed towards the stabilization of unemployment. This thesis subject deals with the securities which is the basic instrument of European Financial Dimension. The first section of this thesis describes importance of the securities markets in the world ' s financial markets and differences at present. The second section deals with the legislations of European Community which is done about the securities. In this section the harmonization of operating conditions about securities market is apprised. The third section describes differant projects, in which includes proposals about harmonization activities, are realized technically concerning creation of securities market. In the fourth section explains the development of securities in Turkish legislations up to this date and as in the fifth section, the harmonization studies are examined comperative with European Communities legislations limited with Turkish Capital Law. !#*?
