Özet
Bu araştırma da Görsel Sanatlar dersine yönelik ortaokul öğrencilerinin tutumları ölçmeyi amaçlanmış ve Görsel Sanatlar dersine ilişkin tutumların ortaya koyularak dersin önemi incelenmiştir. Görsel Sanatlar Eğitimi alanında oluşan problemlerin çözümü için yapılan çalışmalar ortaokullar da son derece yetersiz görülmektedir. Bu nedenle nitelikli bir sanat eğitiminde karşılaşılabilecek sorunların giderilmesi ve bu problemlerin çözümünün ne kadar önemli olduğunun vurgulanması için ortaokulda okuyan öğrencilerin Görsel Sanatlar dersine ait görüşlerinin incelenmesi çalışmanın önemini arttırmaktadır. Bu araştırma kapsamında sanat eğitiminin ortaokul öğrencilerine katkısı ve eğitimde kalitenin artması için sanat eğitiminin gerekliliği öğrenci görüşleriyle bir kez daha ortaya koyulması düşünülmüştür. Bu çalışma 2018-2019 eğitim yılında, Trabzon ilindeki ortaokullarda okuyan toplam 999 öğrenci katılımıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada kullanılan anket iki bölümden oluşmuştur. Öğrencilerin demografik bilgilerinin yer aldığı 6 madde anketin birinci bölümünde yer alırken, Görsel Sanatlar dersine yönelik öğrenci görüşlerini ifade eden 25 madde anketin ikinci bölümde bulunmaktadır. Ölçekte“Derse Yönelik Sevgi Ve Olumlu Tutum”,“Aktif Olarak İcra Etme İsteği”ve“Sanata Hayranlık Ve Saygı”olmak üzere 3 boyut şeklinde değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmada, Görsel Sanatlar dersine yönelik tutum ölçeği ve derse yönelik sevgi ve olumlu tutum alt boyut puanlarının“yüksek düzeyde olumlu”, aktif olarak icra etme isteği alt boyut puanlarının“düşük düzeyde”, sanata hayranlık ve saygı alt boyut puanlarının“çok yüksek düzeyde olumlu”olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucuna göre; Ortaokul öğrencilerine yönelik yapılan tutum ölçeğinden ve alt faktörlerinden elde edilen puanların arttığını gösteren bulgular bize Görsel Sanatlar dersine yönelik olumlu tutumun yükseldiğini ve buna bağlı olarak ortaokullarda sanat eğitimine verilmesi gereken değeri bir kez daha ortaya koymaktadır.

In this research, it is aimed to measure the attitudes of secondary school students towards visual arts course and the importance of the course is examined by revealing the attitudes about the visual art course. Studies to solve the problems in the field of Visual Arts Education are seen as inadequate in secondary schools. In this study, it is thought that the importance of art education and the necessity of art education in order to increase the quality in education should be put forward once again with the opinions of students. Therefore, in order to eliminate the problems that may be encountered in a qualified art education and to emphasize how important the solution of these problems is, it is important to examine the views of secondary school students about Visual Arts Course.“ This research was carried out with 999 secondary school students in Trabzon in 2018-2019 academic year. A questionnaire consisting of two parts was used in the study. In the first part of the questionnaire, there are 6 items that contain the demographic information of the students, and in the second part there are 25 items expressing the students' views towards the Visual Arts Course. The scale was evaluated in three dimensions as Love and Positive Attitude towards the Lesson, the desire to actively perform and admire and respect Art. As a result of the study, the increase in the scores obtained from the scale and the sub-factors of the attitudes towards the secondary school students show us that the positive attitude towards the visual arts course has increased. The attitude scale for the visual arts course and the affection and positive attitude subscale scores for the course were highly positive. It was found that the subscale scores of the desire to actively perform were low level and that the admiration and respect to art subscale scores were very high positive.”
