Özet

Amaç: Bu araştırmada ergenlerde obsesif kompulsif bozukluk (OKB) belirti düzeylerini azaltmaya yönelik bilişsel davranışçı terapi (BDT) temelli bir psikoeğitim uygulamasının geliştirilmesi ve geliştirilen bu uygulamanın etkililiğinin karma yöntem çalışmasıyla test edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Bu çalışmada öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu deneysel uygulama içerisine üç farklı zamanda nitel verilerin eklendiği gömülü karma desen kullanılmıştır. Deneysel çalışma 2019-2020 eğitim-öğretim yılında Yozgat ili Yerköy ilçesinde bulunan iki farklı ortaöğretim kurumunun 9,10,11 ve 12. sınıflarında öğrenim gören öğrenciler ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Örnekleme sürecinde ilk olarak küme örnekleme yoluyla çalışmanın yürütüleceği ortaöğretim kurumları belirlenmiştir. Ardından bu okullarda OKB belirtileri yüksek olan 30 öğrenci ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilerek deney ve kontrol gruplarına dâhil edilmiş ve araştırma sürecinde geliştirilmiş olan BDT temelli psikoeğitim uygulaması deney grubu ile 12 hafta boyunca gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sürecinde nitel verilerin analizinde betimsel ve içerik analiz yöntemleri, nicel verilerin analizinde ise normallik analizleri, bağımlı örneklemler için t testi ve Tek Faktörlü Kovaryans Analizi uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgularda BDT temelli müdahale uygulamasının etkisizleştirme boyutu haricinde OKB belirtilerinin azaltılmasında etkili bir yaklaşım olduğu ve uygulama esnasında elde edilen dokümanlar ile uygulama sonrasında yapılan görüşme süreçlerinin analizinden elde edilen bulguların nicel yöntemlerle elde edilen bulgularla örtüştüğü ve nitel bulguların nicel bulguları yeterli düzeyde destekleyip açıkladığı belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Araştırma sonucunda uygulanmış olan bilişsel davranışçı terapi temelli OKB belirtileri psikoeğitim programının ergenlerde etkisizleştirme boyutu dışında OKB belirti düzeylerini azaltmada etkili bir müdahale yaklaşımı olduğu ve nitel bulguların da bu durumu desteklediği söylenebilir.

Purpose: In this study, it has been set out to develop a psychoeducational application based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to reduce the symptom levels of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in adolescents and to test the effectiveness of this developed application with a mixed methods research design. Method: In this study, embedded mixed methods design in which qualitative data was added at three different times has been used in the experimental application with pre-test post-test control group. The experimental study has been carried out with students studying in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades of two different secondary education institutions in Yerköy district of Yozgat province in the 2019-2020 academic year. In the sampling process, firstly, secondary education institutions in which the study will be conducted through cluster sampling have been determined. Then, 30 students with high OCD symptoms in these schools have been included in the experimental and control groups by using the criterion sampling method, and the CBT based psychoeducation application developed during the research process has been carried out with the experimental group for 12 weeks. During the research process, descriptive and content analysis methods have been used for the analysis of qualitative data, normality analysis, t test for dependent samples and One-Way Analysis of Covariance have been used. Findings: According to the findings obtained from the research, it has been determined that the intervention based on CBT is an effective approach in reducing OCD symptoms, except for the neutralizing dimension and the documents obtained during the application and the findings obtained from the analysis of the interview processes after the application coincided with the findings obtained by quantitative methods. It has also been determined that the qualitative findings adequately support and explain the quantitative findings. Results: As a result of the study, it can be said that the psychoeducation program for OCD symptoms based on cognitive behavioral therapy is an effective intervention approach in reducing OCD symptom levels in adolescents, and qualitative findings also support this.
