Özet
Modernleşmeyle insanların yaşam biçimlerinde meydana gelen değişiklikler bireylerin mahremiyet algılarında da değişim ve dönüşümlere neden olmaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasının amacı 18 yaş ve üstü bireylerin mahremiyet algısını ölçecek geçerliği ve güvenirliliği olan kapsamlı bir ölçek geliştirmek ve daha sonra ölçekle bireylerin mahremiyet algılarını ölçmektir. Çalışmanın ilk aşamasını 4'lü likert türünde bir ölçek geliştirme, ikinci aşamasını geliştirilen ölçeğin uygulanmasından elde edilen verilerin analizi oluşturmaktadır. Geliştirilen ölçeğin birinci uygulamasına 451 kişi katılım sağlamıştır. Birinci uygulamadan elde edilen veriler SPSS 24 programı kullanılarak Açımlayıcı Faktör Analizi yapılmıştır. Açımlayıcı faktör analizi neticesinde nihai ölçeğin 5 faktör altında toplanan 25 maddeden oluştuğu görülmüş ve faktörlerin isimlendirmesi yükleme yapan maddelerin özelliklerine göre yapılmıştır. Ölçek 280 kişilik ikinci çalışma grubuna ye uygulanmış ve elde edilen veriler SPSS AMOS 26 programı kullanılarak Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi yapılmıştır. DFA'dan elde edilen uyum istatistiklerine göre beş faktörlü 25 maddeden oluşan ölçek yapısı doğrulanmış ve ölçeğin güvenirlik çalışması sonucu Cronbach alfa iç tutarlılık güvenirlik katsayısı hesaplanmıştır. Ölçek maddelerinden 11 tanesinin ters puanlanması gerekmekte olup ölçekten alınan yüksek puan bireyin mahremiyet algısının yüksek olduğunu göstermektedir. İkinci aşamada mahremiyet algısının cinsiyet, yaş grubu, eğitim durumu, medeni durum, çalışma durumu, dini inanç ve ibadet yapma değişkenlerine göre istatiksel analizleri yapılmıştır. Mahremiyet algısı sadece ibadet yapma değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermektedir. Bireysel mahremiyet algısı yaş ve eğitime göre göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği bulunmuştur. Dijital mahremiyet algısı cinsiyet, yaş ve medeni duruma göre göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği bulunmuştur. Mekânsal mahremiyet algısı yaş medeni durum ve ibadete göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği bulunmuştur. Başkalarına ilişkin mahremiyet algısı ve çift ilişkilerinde mahremiyet algısı ise cinsiyet, yaş grubu, eğitim durumu, medeni durum, çalışma durumu ve ibadet yapma değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği bulunmuştur.

Changes in people's lifestyles with modernization cause changes and transformations in the privacy perceptions of individuals. The aim of this thesis is to develop a comprehensive scale with validity and reliability to measure the privacy perception of individuals aged 18 and over, and after to measure the privacy perceptions of individuals with the developed scale. The first stage of the study consists of developing a 4-point Likert type scale, the second stage is the analysis of the data obtained from the application of the developed scale. 451 people participated in the first implementation of the developed scale. Exploratory Factor Analysis was performed using the data obtained from the first application, using the SPSS 24 program. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, it was seen that the final scale consisted of 25 items under 5 factors, and the naming of the factors was made according to the properties of the loading items. The scale was applied to the second study group of 280 people and Confirmatory Factor Analysis was performed using the SPSS AMOS 26 program with the obtained data. According to the compliance analysis obtained from CFA, the scale structure consisting of 25 items with five factors was verified and as a result of the reliability study of the scale the Cronbach Alpha internal consistency reliability coefficient was calculated. 11 of the scale items need to be scored in reverse, and the high score obtained from the scale indicates that the individual has a high perception of privacy. In the second stage, statistical analysis of privacy perception was made according to the variables of gender, age group, educational status, marital status, employment status, religious belief and worshiping. The perception of privacy differs significantly only according to the variable of worshiping. It has been found that individual privacy perception differs significantly according to age and education. It has been found that the digital privacy perception varies according to gender, age and marital status. Spatial privacy perception was found to differ significantly according to age, marital status and worship. It was found that the perception of privacy regarding others and the perception of privacy in couple relationships differ significantly according to the variables of gender, age group, educational status, marital status, working status and worshiping.
