Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı öğretmen görüşlerine göre Aydın ili Efeler ve Nazilli ilçelerinde Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı okullarda görev yapan okul müdürlerinin öğretmen görüşlerine göre 21. yüzyıl beceri düzeylerini belirlemek ve elde edilen bulguları öğretmen görüşlerine göre değerlendirmektir. Bu çerçevede çalışmada hem nicel hem de nitel boyutları içeren sıralı açımlayıcı karma desen (Sequential Explaratory Desing) kullanılmıştır. Birinci aşama nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama modeline göre planlanmıştır. Araştırma evrenini 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında Aydın ili Efeler ve Nazilli ilçelerinde anaokulu, ilkokul, ortaokul ve liselerde çalışan 6180 öğretmen, örneklemini tabakalı örnekleme tekniği kullanılarak belirlenen 373 öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Veriler, araştırmacının geliştirdiği“Okul Müdürleri 21.Yüzyıl Becerileri Ölçeği”uygulanarak elde edilmiştir. İkinci aşama nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgu bilim desenine göre planlanmıştır. Veriler 2020-2021 öğretim yılında, maksimum çeşitlilik örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlen 10 öğretmenden, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın nicel bulgularına göre; öğretmenlerin okul müdürlerinin 21. yüzyıl becerilerine ilişkin algılarının“Katılıyorum”düzeyinde olduğu saptanmıştır. Öğretmenlerin okul müdürlerinin 21. yüzyıl beceri düzeylerine ilişkin görüşleri; öğretmenin yaş değişkenine göre anlamlı bir farkılılık göstermezken, okul müdürünün cinsiyeti, okul türü, okul kademesi, öğretmen eğitim durumu, öğretmen kıdemi ve öğretmen yaşı değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılık göstermiştir. Araştırmanın nitel bulgularına göre; öğrenme ve yenilikçilik becerileri; bilgi, teknoloji ve medya okuryazarlığı becerileri ve yaşam ve kariyer beceleri kategorilerine ulaşılmıştır. Elde edilen kategoriler ile ilgili tema, alt tema ve kodlar oluşturulmuştur. Kadın okul müdürlerinin, özel okul müdürlerinin, okul öncesi ve lise müdürlerinin 21. yüzyıl becerilerinin yüksek algılandığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca önlisans ve lisansüstü mezunu , mesleki kıdemi düşük ve yüksek, yaşı genç ve yüksek olan öğretmenlerin okul müdürlerinin 21. yüzyıl becerileri ile ilgili algıları yüksek bulunmuştur. Doğrudan alıntılar kullanılarak katılımcı görüşlerine yer verilmiştir ve elde edilen görüşler alanyazın dahilinde değerlendirilmiştir.

The purpose of this study is to determine 21st century skill levels of the school principals working in the schools of Ministry of National Education in Efeler and Nazilli district of Aydın province according to the views of teachers. Within this framework, sequential exploratory design which involves both the quantitative and qualitative dimensions, was used in the study. In the first phase of the study, screening model which is one of the quantitative research designs was used. The population of research was composed of 6180 teachers working in public and private pre-schools, primary schools, secondary schools and high schools in Efeler and Nazilli district of Aydın province in 2020-2021 academic year, the sample of research was determined by stratified sampling technique as 373 teachers. The data was obtained by applying“21st Century Skills Scale for School Principals”that was developed by the researcher. In the second phase of study, phenomenology design which is one of the qualitive research desing was used. The data was obtained by apllying the semi-structured interview that was developed by the researcher to 10 teachers which were selected through maximum variation sampling method from teachers working in public and private pre-schools, primary schools, secondary schools and high schools in Efeler and Nazilli district of Aydın province in 2020-2021 academic year. Content analysis method was used to analyze quantitive data. According to the findings obtained from the quantative dimension of the research; it was determined that the perception levels of the teachers regarding 21. century skills of school principals were at“I agree”level. It was revealed that perception levels of teachers about 21. century skills of school principals according to teachers' gender did not show a significant difference, but perception levels of teachers according to genders of school principals, school type, school level, graduation of teachers, professional seniority of teachers and teachers' age differed significantly.According to the findings obtained from the qualitative dimension of the research;“Learning And innovation skills”,“Information, technology and media literacy skills”and“Life and career Skills”categories were created by examining the views of teachers. In the light of obtained categories, themes, subthemes and codes were created. The 21st century skills of female school principals, private school principals, preschool and high school principals were perceived as high. Additionally, teachers with associate and postgraduate degrees, low and high professional seniority and young and high-age teachers have high perceptions about their school principals' 21st century skills. The views of the teachers were presented using direct quotations and the views were evaluated within the framework of the literature. In the frame of findings, suggestions for future research and practices are given to practitioners and researchers.
