Özet
Din Eğitiminde Eleştirel Eğitim Teorisi tezi iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm; eleştirel eğitim teorisi, tarihsel süreç içerisindeki yeri, Frankfurt Okulu, Paulo Freire ile Ivan Illich başta olmak üzere eleştirel eğitim temsilcilerinin düşünceleri ve eleştirel eğitimin temel kabullerini içermektedir. Eleştirel eğitimin temel kabullerinde yer alan pozitivizm, mutlak bilgi karşıtlığı, sosyal adalet anlayışı, aydınlanma ve özgürleşme, faillik nosyonu, teori ve pratik gibi alanların temellendirilmesini içermektedir. İkinci bölüm eleştirel eğitimin din eğitimine yansımalarını içermektedir. Buna göre; din eğitimi ve öğretimi kavramları, din eğitimi biliminin amaçları, öğretim yöntemleri, eleştirel eğitim ve din eğitiminin ortak yönleri dikkate alınarak hazırlanmıştır. Eleştirel eğitimin temel kabullerinde bahsedilen kavramların din eğitimine yansımalarında mutlak bilgi ve hakikat arayışı, eleştirel zihniyet, özgürleşme, aydınlanma ve kendini gerçekleştirme kavramları ortaya çıkmıştır. Eleştiri ve imkân dili kavramlarıyla din eğitiminde eleştirel eğitim teorisinin pratik yönüne dikkat çekilmiştir.

The thesis of Critical Education Theory in Religious Education consists of two parts. First part; it includes the theory of critical education, its place in the historical process, the Frankfurt School, the thoughts of representatives of critical education, especially Paulo Freire and Ivan Illich and the basic assumptions of critical education. It includes the grounding of areas such as positivism, opposition of absolute knowledge, understanding of social justice, enlightenment and liberation, the notion of agency, theory and practice which are included in the basic acceptances of critical education. The second part includes the reflections of critical education on religious education. According to this; it has been prepared by considering the concepts of religious education and religious instruction, the aims of the science of religious education, teaching methods and the common aspects of critical education and religious education. In the reflections of the concepts mentioned in the basic acceptances of critical education on religious education, the concepts of absolute knowledge and search of truth, critical mindset, liberation, enlightenment and self-realization have emerged. With the concepts of language of critique and possibility, the practical aspects of the theory of critical education in religious education has been pointed out.
