In the course of history, our world has been shaken by different sorts of disasters, such as earthquakes, epidemics, floods. War can be the cruellest disaster which be caused by humanbeings and it demolishes not just cities or houses but also hopes, dreams and futures. Children, being of less mental and physical strength, have been the most vulnerable in the course of wars and doubtlessly have carried the deepest and the most painful scars on their souls. On the one hand, the spiritual and psychological struggles which children sink in to, on the other hand spirituality which might heal children's war wounds psychologically, in this review, we will consider both sides' investigations. This review aims to put together all investigations at the very virgin area which is war children's spirituality, to comprehend what is missing, what does need to improve and to open the way for further studies at the issue. Therefore, firstly an inclusive and coherent definition of the term will be established. In the second part of the dissertation, the issue will be narrowed to children's spirituality, and the challenges surrounding this new term's definition will be examined by presenting different approaches towards the term. After the definition part of this dissertation, the connection between war and its effects on children's mental health will be analysed through studies on the issue, as it is necessary to understand spirituality's role in the 5 relationship of war trauma and a child. Lastly, war-traumatised children's mental health and spirituality association will be analysed under the 3 category as spiritual resilience and war children, war-traumatised children's psychological recovery and spirituality, religiosity and war-traumatised children.
