Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı 23 Mart 2020 tarihinden itibaren, Covid 19 pandemisinden dolayı yüz yüze eğitimden uzaktan eğitime geçiş yapmak zorunda kalan ortaokul öğrencilerinin uzaktan eğitim hakkındaki görüşlerini tespit etmektir. Araştırmanın çalışma evreni 2019-2020 eğitim ve öğretim yılında Kars İli merkezinde yer alan 16 devlet ortaokulunda eğitim gören 1820 öğrencidir. Araştırmaya katılan öğrenciler, okulların mevcut öğrenci sayılarına göre gönüllülük esasına dayalı olarak çalışmaya dâhil edilmişlerdir. Yapılan çalışmada ortaokul öğrencilerinin uzaktan eğitim ve yüz yüze eğitime karşı görüşlerini tespit etmek amacıyla likert tipi ölçek kullanılmıştır. Ortaokul öğrencilerinden toplanan veriler SPSS 20 istatistik programı tarafından analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre 23 Mart 2020 tarihinden itibaren Covid 19 pandemisinden dolayı Eğitim Bilişim Ağı (EBA) üzerinden başlayan uzaktan eğitime karşı öğrencilerin çoğunluğunun yüz yüze eğitimin daha verimli olduğu görüşünde oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Öğrenciler arasındaki bu görüşte kız ve erkek öğrenciler arasında bir farklılık saptanmamıştır. Ancak öğrencilerin okuldan uzak kaldıkları bu süreçte, uzaktan eğitimin iyi bir alternatif olduğunu belirttikleri de görülmüştür. Ayrıca öğrencilerin bir kısmımın genel ağ üzerinden uzaktan eğitime ulaşma imkânlarının kısıtlı olduğu da saptanmıştır. Genel anlamda ise uzaktan eğitimin öğrencilerin sosyalleşmesini kısıtladığı da tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to determine the views of middle school students who have had to switch from face-to-face education to distance education since March 23, 2020 due to the Covid 19 pandemic. The sample of the study is 1820 students studying at 16 state secondary schools in the city center of Kars in the 2019-2020 academic year. The students participating in the study were included in the study on a voluntary basis according to the current number of students of the schools. In the study, a Likert type scale was used to determine the opinions of middle school students against distance education and face-to-face education. The data collected from secondary school students were analyzed by the SPSS 20 statistical program. According to the findings obtained from the research, it was determined that the majority of students think that face-to-face education is more efficient against distance education, which has started on the Education Information Network (EBA) due to the Covid 19 pandemic as of March 23, 2020. There was no difference between male and female students in this opinion among students. However, it was observed that students stated that distance education was a good alternative during this period of being away from school. In addition, it has been determined that some of the students have limited access to distance education over the public network. In general, it has been found that distance education restricts students' socialization
