Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Ömer Lütfi Mete'nin roman ve hikâyelerindeki siyasi-sosyal meseleleri tespit ve tahlil etmektir. Çalışmamızın“Giriş”bölümünde edebiyatın siyaset, toplum ve tarihle olan ilişkisi üzerinden genel bir çerçeve çizilmiş, bu ilişkinin Ömer Lütfi Mete'nin roman ve hikâyelerindeki yansımaları üzerine yapacağımız çalışmamızın yöntemi hakkında açıklamalar yapılmıştır. Çalışmamız üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde yazarın hayatı ve sanatı üzerinde durulmuş; bununla beraber yazarın yaşadığı dönemin Türkiye'sinin, eserlerinde de yansımalarını bulan, siyasi ve sosyal gelişmelerine değinilmiş ve nihayetinde bu gelişmelerin yazarın hayatına akseden yönlerine dikkat çekilmiştir. Çalışmamızın ikinci ve üçüncü bölümlerinde ise Ömer Lütfi Mete'nin roman ve hikâyelerinde tespit ettiğimiz siyasi ve sosyal meseleler, ilgili başlıklar üzerinden ele alınmış, tespit edilen bulgular, birinci bölümde bahsettiğimiz Türkiye'nin tarihî süreç içerisinde yaşadığı önemli kırılma noktaları göz önünde bulundurularak tahlil edilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to identify and analyze the political-social issues in Ömer Lütfi Mete's novels and stories. In the“Introduction”section of our study, a general framework was drawn over the relationship of literature with politics, society and history explanations were made about the method of our study on the reflections of this relationship in Ömer Lütfi Mete's novels and stories. Our work consists of three parts. In the first chapter, the life and art of the author is emphasized; In addition, the political and social developments of the period in which the author lived in Turkey, which were also reflected in his works, were mentioned and attention was drawn to the aspects of these developments that were reflected in the author's life. In the second and third parts of our study, the political and social issues that we identified in Ömer Lütfi Mete's novels and stories were handled through the relevant titles, and the findings were analyzed considering the important breaking points that Turkey has experienced in the historical process, which we mentioned in the first part.
