A need to adjust the antitrust review analysis to high-tech markets are becoming more and more important in each passing day. The biggest worry at this point is whether competition authorities are well equipped enough to interfere with those markets. The notions creating challenges in high-tech markets, such as innovation, multi-sided platforms, data, attention, are not new to antitrust but it has been seen that with technology they changed shape. As it will be explained in detail, what changed now with high-tech markets is sometimes their importance, sometimes their pace or their features. This paper aimed to point out that high-tech markets have distinct characteristics and for that reason traditional merger analysis fell short in high-tech markets. Additionally, I will discuss potential adjustments to traditional merger analysis for better and well-suited analysis for those markets. The paper will follow the structure in U.S Horizontal Merger Guidelines in the first part, and will mention challenges raised in defining market, identifying market participants and assessing market power. Later, I will mention today's phenomena big data's role in high-tech merger review
