Özet
Görsel sanatlar dersi ile tanınan renk kavramı, temel sanat eğitiminin yapı taşlarından birini oluşturmaktadır. Uygulama yapılması ile bilinen görsel sanatlar dersinde renk konusu sadece yüzeysel bilgilerin anlatılması ile sınırlı olabilmektedir. Öğrencilerin rengi çözümleyip eserlerine yansıtabilme becerilerinin geliştirilmesinin sanat tarihinden ve sanatçı eserlerinden örnekler gösterilmesi ile mümkün olabileceği düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışmada ortaokul 8. sınıf görsel sanatlar dersi renk konusunun işlenişinde Van Gogh'un resimlerinin öğrenci çalışmalarına etkisinin olup olmadığını ortaya çıkarmak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma nitel ve nicel verilerin bir arada kullanıldığı karma araştırma yöntemi şeklinde kurgulanmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni Şanlıurfa ili Hilvan ilçesi, örneklemi ise Bedrettin Kem İmam Hatip Ortaokuludur. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu ortaokul 8. sınıfta öğrenim gören rastgele seçim yöntemiyle belirlenmiş 20 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Tek grubun ele alındığı araştırmada öğrencilerin renk bilgisi ile Van Gogh ve eserlerini bilme düzeylerini ölçmek amacıyla hazırlanmış ön test uygulanmış, öğrencilere ön resim çalışması yaptırılmıştır. Uygulamalar esnasında öğrenciler gözlem formları aracılığıyla gözlemlenip değerlendirilmiştir. Detaylı konu anlatımı yapılıp sanatçı eserlerinden örnekler gösterildikten sonra son test uygulanmıştır. Resim çalışmasının tekrar yapılması istenip, öğrenciler gözlemlenmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda öğrencilerin ön test-son testinde ve gözlem formlarında olumlu yönde anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Üç uzman tarafından değerlendirilen öğrenci çalışmalarında ise yüksek oranda olumlu yönde anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Analizler ile elde edilen bulgulara göre sonuç olarak, ortaokul 8. sınıf görsel sanatlar dersi renk konusunun işlenişinde Van Gogh'un resimlerinin öğrenci çalışmalarına etkisinin olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Renk konusu işlenirken sanatçı eserlerinden örnekler verilerek konunun anlatılması ile öğrencinin renkleri daha iyi kavradığı ve bunu sanatsal çalışmalarına yansıttığı görülmüştür. Görsel sanatlar dersinde renk konusunun yüzeysel bilgilerle işlenmeyip sanat tarihinden, sanatçılardan ve eserlerinden örnekler verilmesiyle öğrencilerin kültürel kazanım elde etmesi açılarından da fayda sağlamıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre görsel sanatlar dersinde konu işlenirken bu metodun uygulanması önerilmektedir.

The concept of color, known with the visual arts course, constitutes one of the building blocks of basic art education. The subject of color in the visual art course, which is known for its application, may be limited to the explanation of only superficial information. It is thought that it is possible to develop students' ability to analyze color and reflect it on their works, by showing examples of artist works from the history of art. In this study, it is aimed to reveal whether Van Gough's paintings have effect on student work or not in the teaching of the color subject in the 8th grade visual arts lesson. The research was created as a mixed research method in which qualitative and quantitative data were used together. The universe of the research is Hilvan District of Şanlurfa province and the sample is Bedrettin Kerem Imam Hatip Middle School. The study group of research consists of 20 secondary school 8th grade students selected by randomly selection method. In the study, which was handled by a single group, the color knowledge of the students, a test prepared to measure the level of knowing Van Gough and his works was applied, a preliminary painting work was done on the subject of 'day landscapes, wheat fields, night landscapes' on of the subjects Van Gough worked on. During the applications, the students were observed and evaluated through the observation form. After giving detailed lectures to the students and showing examples of artist works, the post-test was applied. The students were asked to do the painting work again, and the students were observed. As a result of the analysis, a positive and significant difference was found in the pre-test and post-test and observation forms of the students. In the student studies evaluated by three experts, a significant positive difference was found at a high rate. As a result, according to the findings obtained by the analysis, it has been revealed that Van Gough's paintings have an effect on student work in the middle school 8th grade visual arts lesson. While the subject of color is being studied, it has been revealed that the student comprehends colors better and reflects this on their artistic works, by giving examples from the works of the artist and explaining the subject. While the subject of color is being taught in the visual and arts lesson not only superficial information, but also giving examples from the history of art, artists, and their works has been beneficial for the students to gain cultural acquisitions. Because of these results, it is recommended to apply this method while teaching the subject in the visual arts course.
