Özet
ii ÖZET Müzikte barok çağ, 17. yüzyılla 18. yüzyılın ikinci yansını içine alan dönemin müziğini karakterize eden estetik eğilimi belirler. J.S. Bach ve J.M. Leclair bu dönemin en önemli bestecilerindendir. Müzik tarihinde on sekizinci yüzyılın ikinci yansı ile on dokuzuncu yüz yılın başlarım kapsayan döneme klasik dönem denmiştir. Klasik dönemde, uzun cümleli ve gösterişli yazıya dayalı barok çağ üslubu yerini, daha parlak, sade ve net bir sanata bırakmıştır. W.A. Mozart ve L.V. Beethoven bu dönemin en önemli bestecilerindendir. Müzik tarihinde on dokuzuncu yüzyıl“Romantizm”çağıdır. Müzikte romantizm, biçimsel bütünlük ilkesini temsil eden ve sürekli olarak yeni düşünceler üreten klasisizme bir“karşı akım”olarak on dokuzuncu yüzyılda ortaya çıkmıştır. H. Wieniawski, N. Paganını ve E. Grieg bu dönemin en önemli bestecileri arasındadır. Bu tezde barok, klasik, romantik dönemler ve bu dönemlere ait ünlü bestecilerin biyografileri ile eserleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Keman eğitimi gören öğencilere ve keman sanatçılarına; besteciler, eserleri ve ait olduklan dönemler hakkında bilgi verilmesi amaçlanmıştır.

İÜ SUMMARY The baraque age In music defines the esthetic tendency which characterizes the music of the period containing 17. century and the second half of 18. century. J.S. Bach and J.M. Leclair are the most important composers of the age. The period which contains the second half of 18. century and the beginning of 19. century at the musical history is called the classic age. In the classic age, the baraque age style which was based on the showy writings with long sentences disappeared and more brilliant, plain and a net art took place. W.A. Mozart and L.V. Beethoven are the most important composers of that period. 19. century in the musical history is the romanticism age. Romanticism came into existence in 19. century as a contrary current to classicism which represented the formal completeness principle producing new thoughts continuously. H. Wieniawski, N. Paganini and E. Grieg are the most importtant composers of that period. In this thesis, knowledge about baraque, classic and romantic ages and the biography and works of the famous composers belonging to these periods are given. The aim of this study is to give the violin class students and the violinists, illuminating knowledge about the composers, their works and the periods they belong.
